The Twenty First Century Art Book

There are a lot of good pieces included in this book, but about a third of the works seem rather vapid or self-absorbed to me.

I feel the book probably represented the 21st century art scene, but I personally couldn't relate to it as art. Because so much was video or photographic work it was hard to give the viewer a feel for the pieces.Believe it or not there are some 21st century artist still using paint.

Purchased this (x2) as a "thank you" gift for our art interns - they really loved it!

Nice over view of 21st century art

I love this book! Its great for its value,in regular store it cost much more. In this book gathered all the art- legends of the 21st century. Great gift for a friend artist, thinking of purchasing one for myself.

Great book, covers a lot of contemporary art practice. However, maybe some of the selections of artist's works is a little unusual, i.e. less well-known works, but still a really good reference book.Looking forward to the smaller version to go with my collection of the little Phaidon art books.

An extremely interesting read and diverse visuals. A real tribute to 21st century art! I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Art!

I see where the price of this book has been slashed from $46 to $20: there are just not enough examples of really good contemporary art in it. Plus, the size of most of the text is quite small so if you decide to make this now more reasonable investment of $20 you might also consider purchasing a large magnifying glass if you don't already own one.

The book is think and heavy, well constructed. It’s a bit taller than expected but not a complaint.
