Tetrion Make Good Instant Primer Bonder 1L

Used this in an awkward-to-get-at Airing Cupboard - a shelf had come away from the rear wall and as I couldn't reach in far enough the only way to re-attach it was by using No More Nails. However as the plaster had also come away with the shelf this left a crumbly and dusty surface. Having searched through the various options (PVA, SBR etc.,) I decided to try this and am very glad I did - easy to use and dries quite quickly. Within an hour I had a firm, dry surface that bonded really well with the No More Nails adhesive. Job Done.

Works MUCH better than a PVA/Water mix especially on crumbling or damaged stonework/brickwork and renders

Any dust left in the cracks, after a good hoovering, is secured due to the ‘Tackyness’ of the product. Too early to say how effective it is as a bonding product. Only time will tell. After spraying any crack, be sure to white any product from the outer surface as it is sticky and may leave some form of residue.

Ease of trigger bottle was great when priming timbers on patio furniture. Goes further than I thought. Good price, good product and prime delivery. Recommended

I used this on my outside wall before painting, to prime the surface and make it less porous in hope the paint would last longer and go on better.I applied with a roller as I found the spray gun a bit messy. I followed all the instructions, cleaning the surface before applying. Applying to a dry surface. Allowing to dry before painting. I painted the wall a couple of months ago now and the paint is showing signs of bubbling, which I’m sure is due to this product as I’ve never had that happen before. The paint just didn’t dry and harden as usual and I used Sandtex paint. I hope I’m not scraping it all off next summer and having to start again. I would not use again, I’d probably prime with diluted paint next time.

Coats polystyrene great, get exc paint coverage and colour when this is applied 1st

What good is a product when your moving quickly from job A to Job B and you want to get small things done fast. The spray mechanism is absolute rubbish. Tetrion needs to cop on. My second time buying this product and after couple minutes of use it stops spraying pull the trigger and nothing comes out.
