The wire is very thin but it is bright. It has a few decent light settings and you can dim it.

This uses the latest breed of smart LEDs to great effect; I loved the degree of control. I used them externally in very poor weather conditions and there was no obvious degradation and that is remarkable. They seem well sealed, almost every other exterior lamp I have every bought has shown evidence of corrosion even on the first use.They use delicate wire that needs some care but the upside is that it looks part of the decoration: a gold filament. Avoid twisting the wire when deploying and storing and I think they will give a decent number of years of use.

I really love these lights they give off such a nice quality light. Havent used to timer so cannot comment on that. Lovely to mould round something, we have a giant wreath in the kitchen that we wrapped it round (love fairy lights and all things twinkly all year round in my house!) and they are so sweet. I would say, given they are on a very thin wire, wrap them around an old kitchen roll tube or something like that because the wire can get tangled and when putting them on something maybe have someone hold one end. Lovely quality lights :)

Although this unit is very effective, I was very concerned that there was no isolation between the LED's and the mains supply. I don't think it would be suitable for outdoor use especially as 230v AC/DC could be present anywhere on the string if there were damaged seals or frayed wires. I would like to see a fully isolated power supply if it is to be used outdoors. It also needs to have a plug that contains a 1 amp fuse otherwise any shorts to the cable or a problem inside the controller, would be uncontained with a variety of consequences.

Great lights they are long with plenty of tiny little purple lights, that do look pink until it’s really dark but they are lovely. Got them to put inside our gazebo twisted with flowers they look great and not too expensive.

Dimmer is good. Green is bright, warm white is lovely. Waiting for random twinkle option to be included.Sadly, after carefully placing exactly where required, it was working, then discovered last bulb wire unattached. Was working, but a concern. Now nothing works after 1 day. Amazon have refunded. I will purchase again, in good faith. These things happen.

Very nice, not the brightest, but it doesn’t respond to the remote anymore so I have to click the little remote bit attached to the wire.

Nice product, although only lasted for two weeks, item was replaced without any delivery cost. Working very well at the moment. There comment was “Could have been damage in transit.”Very nice ambiance in the evening, with easy operation through the keypad, the timer also is very useful.
