HP 2.4GHz Wireless Optical Mobile Mouse (Black)

Hi,I bought this mouse about a week back and these are the features I wanna mention about this mouse.1) It is very light weight2) Its sensitivity can be configured with the help of a HP Suite which can be installed on your laptops with the help of a CD they provide. This I feel is the best thing about this mouse as I have used many wireless mice until now, and I have not been satisfied with the sensitivity - either too fast or too slow. You can get that just how you want with this mouse.3) This is not a mouse for any hardcore gamers as it is not quite that big enough and your hands start paining after about 2 hours of gaming. If you are a small time gamer who plays for a little time off then you would not have any problem4) The rubber grip on the side is pretty good.. gives good grip and feels soft on your hands.5) The receiver is so small that it does not feel like it really is a separate entity. Great feature again !6) I have had to turn the mouse off and then on as it stops working intermittently, but once I did that it works fine. It has happened twice - the only glitch for my use. I hope it does not happen too often in the future.

Positives:This mouse is awesome. It is at a fair price, its cheap and its comfortable. I have never had any issues with the HP wireless mice. It doesn't ever lose connectivity and works on both the Mac and Windows Operating Systems.Neutrals:Runs on batteries (I personally prefer batteries to charge). The place to put the batteries in is really cool. There is an ejector button on the bottom which unlocks the top cover of the mouse and you take it out to replace the battery. Its cool but it seems like it makes the mouse less durable. The cover feels like a thin layer of plastic. (If you are the angry type, that does mice throwing, I would stay away; however that is the coolest positioning of the battery I have ever seen).Negatives:The receiver, while small, is still kinda big.Final thought:I definitely recommend this mouse.

First off, excellent shipping. I ordered this mouse with standard shipping on Thursday afternoon, and it arrived Saturday morning. A day and a half. Excellent work!!Second, I purchased it rarely used at $5.99. I saw this same mouse at Target for $29.99. Awsome deal there.Third, as for the performance of the mouse. Works well. It has a smooth illuminated scroll wheel which I was impressed with. It's doesn't have that "clicky" sound every time you scroll up and down with it. Below the scroll wheel is a back button that allows to you go back to your previous page instead of moving your cursor up to back button on top of your window. Cool feature.Cons would be, for me any ways, is that it is a bit smaller than a standard mouse and it's light. The light weight of it makes it feel as if it was cheaply made. With it being an HP product I would thing it would have little more weight to it than what it does. But then again, it was only $5.99. :)

I just bought this mouse a week ago and so far I like it. It is a perfect size. The usb sensor is tiny so you dont have to worry about moving it when you pack up your laptop. I would have given it 5 stars but the materials feel a little cheap. It has that "its almost too lightweight" feeling. I feel that if it dropped off my desk on to tile it might break and thats the only reason It didnt get 5 stars(for 22 bucks its hard to expect more). It definetly works on more surfaces than my old Microsoft wireless mouse I was using so overall I am pleased with this purchase.

I like this mouse as the wireless reciever has a small profile and the mouse itself fits nicely in my hand. However, the one item that bugs me is that the scroll wheel seems to stick in one spot instead of being smooth all the way around. I am not sure if this is typical of this product or if I just got the lucky one. This isn't a huge problem, just minorly anoying when I am scrolling down a long webpage.Update ~ September 22, 2011I purchased this mouse in March 2011. I noted in my original review that the scroll wheel seemed to stick a little bit. Well, it went from minorly anoying to irritating and I have pretty much stopped using it. And I think the scroll wheel is on its last leg and wont be working much longer anyways. The other thing that has stuck out in my mind is that it seems to go through batteries more often then it seems like it should. I have only had the mouse for 6 months and have already lost track of how many replacement batteries I have gone through.

I just happened to saw that this mouse has the same kind of pattern as my HP Mini 10.1 inch net book has. So I ordered with so much interest. To my surprise, it is not similar pattern, but it is exactly the same pattern on the mouse. It is amazing to have a netbook and a superb matching mouse. I love to use this product. I have been using this mouse for past 4 months without any problem- Good quality mouse- Appropriate sensitivity as nice to use- Small size but correct size for handy operation- Glossy finish with the beautiful HP pattern on top- OEM product comes in a challenging price

SO FAR THIS MOUSE WORKS GREAT. REAL SLEEK DESIGN, I LOVE HOW COMPACT IT IS. THE FEEL IS GREAT, REAL COMFY, AND IT'S SO LIGHTWEIGHT YOU JUS PICK IT UP N MOVE. IT SLIDES SMOOTHLY ACROSS SURFACES AND STILL HAS GREAT RESPONSE. DID I MENTION HOW GREAT IT FEELS? THIS MOUSE IS JUST GREAT, ANOTHER WONDERFUL PRODUCT FROM HP, JUST LIKE MY LAPTOP. AS A COMPUTER TECH AM VERY MUCH INTO NEW TECHNOLOGY AND PERFORMANCE, SO I KNOW A GOOD PRODUCT WHEN I COME ACROSS ONE, AND THIS HP WIRRELESS MOUSE IS TOP CLASS. ANYBODY LOOKING FOR A WIRELESS MOUSE SHOULD DEFINITELY GIVE THIS ONE A TRY.

Cool product ,better quality

This is actually a very good product, Compact and very portable. Not for gaming though. Easy to carry around in a laptop bag. The buttons are very soft and the wheel is smooth without any friction. If I hover the mouse about 1cm above the surface, it still works on the screen. Overall it is good value for money.
