Review: Silicone remover/applicator - I had my bathroom refitted almost a year ago and already had the issue of mould in the silicone. Rather than forking out I decided to have a try myself. Iโve done it before but hadnโt really done it nearly as it was in the old bathroom and it was to stop leaks as opposed to looking nice so I just used my finger to apply it, needless to say it didnโt look great. This time around I decided to buy this kit to do a โproper jobโ. Firstly, there are 2 kits here which make up the 8 pieces. The removal tools (hook like in shape) couldnโt be simpler to use and do exactly what youโd expect. The applicators vary in size and shape, one in particular can be attached to the end of the silicone tube and used to shape the silicone as it comes out of the nozzle. I have no real critiques for the tools, they are simple and effective. If you want to remove old, mouldy silicone and replace it with a sleek professional finish - you need this kit. Review: Useful but you will still need a sharp blade to finish the job - This set is useful for removing the bulk of the silicone but ultimately you will still need a sharp blade to remove those small stubborn pieces that are at the edges. The main removal tool does a fairly good job of 'digging' into the existing silicon but in my experience it is not particularly comfortable to hold whilst doing this because both ends are their own unique removal tool. Some of the smoothing accessories were useful. Overall I think they made the job easier but you can't use only this set to remove all of the silicone.

Easy to use
Looked in homebase for a kit like this only to find they are a lot more money so I bought this. It's a great piece of kit. I was able to easily remove the moldy filler around my bath then replace it with a really neat finish. It looks like a professional has done it (I attempted it before without the kit and it looked like a 3 year old had done it!)

Not overly impressed , parts work some don't .
Some parts of the kit work, but the silicone remover , well unless you're very lucky no chance , you're be back using a blade and such afterwards . The shapers where more use with corner filling.

Wish I bought this sooner
Probably one of the best tool sets Iโve ever bought, I hate using silicone and now I realise itโs because Iโve never had the correct tools! Would recommend for anyone who avoids silicone because of the mess and difficulty caused in trying to get the perfect finish.

Reusable!!!
Very satisfied with my new removal tools, I wish I had those before as makes the job much easier and quick. Made from Hard/flexible plastic that does not scratch the surface. Very useful to apply new silicone or remove old silicone, and with the choice of 8 different pieces you can use what is more suitable for the job. Easy to clean just with water The items came quick and well packed.

Silicone management
Great value, they remain their rigidity & shape after lots of use & are sticky free as expected. These are exactly what you need for silicone management, since it's quite a difficuilt material to work with, these are a must for a DIY sealing job. I had to find instuctions online how to use them correctly & what each tool was for, the product came in german packaging.

Made the job so much easier
I good set of tools to remove silicon (still never going to be easy but much easier than without! Great for using to create a great finish to the silicon. The sealant around my bath looks like a professional did it!
