This is a very high quality oil that is amazingly rich and unctuous with a beautiful straw green color. With flavors that hint of raw tomato, artichoke, and almonds with touches of wild herbs it is perfect as a dip for bread, drizzled on vegetables, and my personal favorite on popcorn with some good sea salt. I would absolutely order this again and was pleased that the oil was delivered quickly and packaged perfectly.

Es un aceite de máxima calidad, 100% recomendable, pero algo caro más aún por estar próximo a caducar, entiendo que la rebaja del precio pues podría haber sido aún, mayor.

Outstanding Spanish Olive Oil
This olive oil is 'picual', which is peppery and very flavorful. Excellent for dipping but not for cooking.

We purchased this item due to its 2019 NYIOOC review 'Best in Class'. It has a unique flavor. How to describe... grassy, fruity -- my palate responds in a way similar to kiwi... if that makes sense! We really enjoy this olive oil for dipping. UPDATE (Jan 2020): We have purchased and compared 3 top-ranking olive oils from the NYIOOC 2019 competition. Palacio de los Olivos is our number one choice. Excellent flavor! The others do not compare!!
