Review: Orange Knockout...pictures dont do it justice... - I have bought several china glaze recently and this Neon Orange Knockout is the perfect neon orange (especially when compared to China Glaze Home Sweet House Music, which isn't very neon and looks more yellow orange). Trying to get an accurate picture of the color wasn't working...it is actually a brighter, standout, 100% neon orange in person. (I did not add a top coat in photo and it is with 3 coats). Compared to other CG polishes this one seems to dry alot faster and is more of a matte style after drying. As for China Glaze as a brand...I used to think OPI was best brand but when looking for a cheaper but good quality polish, China Glaze is great! Overall, when comparing CG to OPI, I think they are pretty close in quality and how long they last before chipping, except I have noticed that most of CG are little less opaque and require extra coat than it usually takes most of the OPI colors. I will also say that I wish they had a little bit of a thicker brush or that it was a flatter brush rather than rounded. Overall, I'm falling in love with CG as good priced alternative!! Try it with the China Glaze matte top coat for the look of an expensive shellac manicure from the salon. Most recently, I used it on my 17 year old daughter for a school date-dance. I put it on on a Wednesday for the Saturday event. On Saturday, I checked to see if it needed a touch up. Nope. Still perfect. She made it 8 or 9 days before the first chip. I was able to dot some on and it blended in just fine. I swiped it with the matt top coat again and she was able to get 12 days out of the manicure before it all had to come off and start over. I have bottles that I've had for two and three years and they haven't become thick and hard to apply yet! The polish is a cream type but there is no streaking and it dries quickly.
