Coffee snob warning.I bought this for novelty reasons. I'm just glad I got to try this unique blend of coffee for such a low price. I expected it to taste bad and weird. I wasn't disappointed. I won't get into why it's bad; anyone who cares can tell just by looking at the package. Although it needs to be pointed out that the bag isnt resealable so you need another container. The first brew is totally drinkable but certainly not going to join my rotation. On a scale from zero to five, the bitterness is about a 1/5 and acid about 3/5. Good for donut shop and breakfast blend enjoyers. There's a slight astringent dryness which usually comes from lower quality beans (or maybe chicory?). Notes are the same as a standard latin american medium roast with the unusual chicory taste. The chicory definitely adds a distinctive odor to the coffee. I'll probably give the rest away to someone who doesn't mind pre-ground.

The price is right and the flavor fits my tastes. What more could one ask. Caffeine doesn't do much for me, and now I find I need to avoid caffeine, so I imagine there will be more purchases in the future.

I get sick when I drink straight coffee - anything over 4-6oz - since I hit somewhere in my thirties, but ever since I went to chicory/coffee (since chicory is excellent on your digestion), it doesn't make me sick one bit as long as I just have one cup (due to there being coffee still present in the ratio). If I perhaps want a 2nd cup in one day, then it's best for me to wait around 4-ish pm, if I have my 1st cup fairly early enough. If you, too, have developed some type of reaction to coffee or it has always made you sick, then chicory/coffee might just be the answer! So, if you get tired of smelling how wonderful coffee is and can't enjoy sipping on a cup, try a little of this! You will be so surprised how much it really still tastes like coffee! You would never know the difference & you wouldn't even have to tell anybody you're serving it to, because they wouldn't be able to tell either!I would be nervous to try any other brands since I've had such a terrible bout with regular coffee for years that only got worse & worse, so Community it is ....until one day I might have to be pushed to try another brand! Until then, I'm not budging. P.S. It is cheaper on my Walmart shelf.

I love, love, love this! I always prefer dark strong coffee. This is superb! It’s rich and creamy. You get this rich flavorful result with a lesser quantity of grounds versus regular coffee grounds. So glad I tried it! I now have it on Auto-Delivery!
