Daystar KJ01004BK Polyurethane Motor Mount

Perfect fit on 06 LJ 4.0. Way better than factory design mounts. A little extra vibes from these and their motor mount together but I am used to it after a few weeks and am very happy with them.

I have an 89 YJ an the engine mounts we're shot so I hopped on Amazon and began to search. I came across these and they looked well made. I read the reviews about these mounts.. Guys with Cherokees were having issues while guys with wranglers did not, so I took a gamble I figured this is the last set of mounts this old Jeep is ever gonna get. Amazon shipped them fairly quickly. They were packaged real well I finally got them out of the box and one of the insert sleeves for the bolt to go threw was dimpled. Not huge set back a vise a tapered punch and hammer, an I was on my way to install. The only other issue I had was getting the stud threw the hole on the frame, there slightly off set. So I loosened the engine plates to manipulate getting them in there it took a little muscle but we'll worth it. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but I couldn't be happier these mounts are solid, you may feel a little engine vibration in the floor but for me no biggy. I'd definitely recommend these.

As I read previous reviews having to cut the poly slightly on one side (which took about 60 seconds) was no surprise and didn’t hamper the install at all. They went right in otherwise and the xj drives better than it ever has. It vibrates a bit more but that’s kind of a no dug with poly and my engine runs smooth so it isn’t a bother in the slightest.

These might be great if they fit right, howeve they do not. I ordered these for a 95 Jeep Cherokee xj. The driver side I had to trim and cut one side to make this work. If it fit like it was suppose to, I would give it a 5. Welds and quality was great, strong part. Passenger no problem

These mounts are tough. But you do have to trim to fit and they’re a little tall. They’re noisy enough that I’ll probably put rubber mounts back in my rock crawler. Great for someone trying to save money and tired of tearing rubber mounts. Not good for the type of personal who wants a quiet vehicle.

These were very easy to install and very well made.

Very good quality. Required a little trimming to get to fit right on driver side BUT nothing crazy intense. Great mounts for the buy compared to stock

These are a high quality and a massive improvement over stock versions. Only issue is for RHD Cherokees is the drivers side has to be modified with a new bolt hole placement. But after that they fitted like the stock versions for RHD type.
