Awesome beginners book
I loved reading this book. It maybe controversial to many, but I felt that it was a truthful book to help those starting out on this path.

A breath of fresh air in a world full of atheists.
Brother Nero is straight to the point on teaching the basics of Satanism. Contrary to certain reviews, he DOES give instruction on how to get the most out of your ritual practices and devotions to Satan. He also states the TRUTH that so called "atheistic Satanism" is just a scam, using Satan as imagery for their particular agendas. He is genuinely adamant about bringing Traditional Satanism into the greater world for those who have felt the calling of Lord Satan. The mention of animal sacrifice and people's upset reaction about it shows that those individuals didn't suspend their media-induced aversion to it, or read his explanations on the subject at hand. He gives a great introduction to keeping a journal with a framework, as well as ideas for developing a personal grimoire. Finally, he has the Al-Jilwah and his thoughts on each section at the end of the book. Good for spiritual meditations and I'm sure some people recite the al-jilwah during rituals of devotion. I was skeptical about buying this book but was glad I ignored all the hate reviews by non-Satanists and armchair theorists.Great job Brother Nero! Look forward to your next book in the series. Don't let the detractors stop you from what you are compelled to write and produce.Hail Satan!

Very good book, I loved it!
I loved reading this book. It does what no other book I've attempted to find can do. Teach about satanism from a theistic perspective. I don't agree with all of Nero's views but it is very refreshing and encouraging to find something, anything, about satanism that isn't following the LeVeyan perspective. He seems to have a couple typos but nothing very serious and he seems to have forgotten about talking about certain topics he promised to talk about later on in the book. I hope more books that cover this topic from the theistic perspective are written as I would very much like to read more. All in all I would very much recommend this book to others wanting to learn about theistic satanism.

very good for beginners
I would like to say this is one of the few books that touches on traditional/theistic Satanism. Their are many books out their on modern Satanism, which makes it hard to find a book that is true in regards to devil worshipping. This book includes all of the basics that any beginner Satanist should know. It is well written.I gave it 4 stars because:Pros:Contains no fluff or extras, you get what you buyTouches on very important issues: such as sacrifice, prayer, family, and what a Satanist isContains commentary on the Al-JilwahGood arguments with no loopholesWritten to be easily understood by anyoneCons:Lacked a bit in the history of Satanism. Did not talk too much about the origins of Satan, other than from the bible. Should have mentioned some of the ancient religions such as the Sumerians, where IMO Satan originatedDid not talk too much about any of the Satanic holidays and did not go into too much detail of any pagan lore and its influences on Traditional SatanismDid not cover much on Meditation and MagickOverall a good read. For a beginner the Cons would not be too important, but someone more advanced may find this book a little too basic. In closing- If your new to Satanism or interested this is a must buy. If your an experienced Satanist this book wouldn't be a bad purchase, but not required.

Drivel for True Believers with no capacity for Critical Thought.
Well, here we have another droll little item in the line-up of Satanic literature. Same old rubbish - this time with the Devil being considered a conscious entity opposed to Yahweh and wanting / needing worship, animal sacrifice, and other expressions of devotion. I could go into lots of details about the text, but I'm only going to mention two.First; this book relies / rests on the 12th Century dogma "Al-Jilwah" of the Yezidi tribe of Northern Iraq, who - according to the drivel in this book - have a religion "It is SAID" that dates back 6000 years!! Very well. Let's proceed from the standpoint of the 6000-year-old "religion" being correct. There are a number of questions that spring to mind…..if one has a mind for anything to spring to, that is. These are:A. Why did it take until the 12th century AD for this obscure tribe to produce a "Book of Revelation" if their absurd belief system was kicking around for thousands of years?B. What has "Satan" and his demons done - specifically - for the Yezidis ? For example; are they world renowned for intellectual brilliance? How about swimming in luxury due to wealth from oil deposits and precious gems & metals? Or maybe, are they popular and respected around the world? And if these questions produce negative answers, then its pretty plane to see what Devil worship has brought them………right down to the FACT that they were preyed upon by Muslims and the "Devil" and his hordes did absolutely nothing to protect them or save them! WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET……GET IT? If the Yezidis have been worshipping the Devil for about 6000 years straight then obviously the Devil is utterly impotent to do a damn thing for his devotees living on this planet. 6000 years and not "Masters of the Earth" yet? 6000 years and not flourishing and living in opulent luxury - at the heights of materialism? Still a small, backward, semi-primitive, STUPID, mindless little tribe of desert-dwellers who subside on sheep and other simplicities? And THIS is an endorsement for Devil Worship, is it?!!! Ha ! What a joke!!! The second point I want to address about the content of this ludicrous nonsense-in-print is animal sacrifice. You know, these days I can take or leave human beings at the best of times, but if there's one thing that guarantees a homicidal response from me ( literally ) its two-legged flotsam who abuse the helpless and the innocent. And I don't care if the "innocent" get around on two legs or four, or have skin, feathers, or fur. If I ever came across any scum who were sacrificing a dog, cat, rabbit, etc., all that would be left of them by the time I got through would be little steaming piles of carrion. But this aside, the idea of sacrifice is now, and always has been, for the gutless wonders of the world. The spiritual parasites who want to gain mileage off of another's suffering and blood. Such gutless wonders never have the nerve to sacrifice themselves to the Devil. That is, if Satan wants blood, spill your own! What could be a more sincere expression of devotion than to cut into yourself with a scalpel and allow a certain amount of your own blood to splash all over his ceremonial altar? But no. This is not what pansies are capable of. The blood of some helpless being is better. The victim can't fight back. And the parasites are safe and sound from harm themselves. So, all you would-be Devil worshippers just think about that. Your Lord & Master doesn't respond to you or your requests because YOU aren't sincere enough to sacrifice your own blood to him, you miserable gutless excremental trash. And by the way, if you want to know just how deranged and skewed your views on "animals" are, just read "ADVENTURES IN KINSHIP WITH ALL LIFE" and "LETTERS TO STRONGHEART" - both by J. Allen Boone. You'll wake up in a hurry. But as for this drool; can it. Its for fools and dupes and weak-minded dolts looking for something from someone who either doesn't exist; or who is powerless to do anything; or who couldn't care less about you anymore than he never cared about the Yezidis in their 6000 years of obscurity and primitivism.

Ideal coffee table book to provoke comment...
Conventional satanism rather than modernised atheistic 'satanism' presented by in a very down-to-earth conversational style by Brother Nero. This is an extremely amusing read, with winning chapter titles such as "Raising Children in Satanism" and so on - excellent advice includes teaching your toddler to call the dark overlord 'Baphomet' instead of 'Satan' in order to fox those pesky child protection types. I don't doubt BN's sincerity, but ultimately, he makes it clear that even satanism is basically consumed with in-fighting amongst it's various tiny sects and handful of adherents just like every other arbitrary belief system. One imagines various satanic covens spending their time casting 'powerful' hexes on their rival crews before heading off to Nandos for a post black-mass nosh up.This is a really great book for leaving out on your coffee table - it sparks conversation every time - pair it up with Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue" and other randomly selected 'out-there' texts to really get the show started. If reading is all about expansion then you certainly don't have to believe a word of it - this is genuinely a good read. I have already bought several copies for friends. Bring on Volume II - Satanism: Including Satanic Grocery Shopping and Luciferian Pet Grooming.

A voice of experience, maturity and faith
This is a unique and valuable book for anyone looking for genuine and sincere religious Satanism, and I highly recommend it. It is not for those looking for atheism with Satanic trappings, nor an individualistic philosophy substituting for spirituality. This is for those searching for Satan and a life long relationship with Him.Nero covers a lot of topics in a down to earth manner, from the point of view of a believing Satanist. It will make you think, quite possibly challenge you, and hopefully nourish your desire for a mature and authentic Theistic Satanism..The strength and directness of some of Nero's view may shock some, but bear with it and think about all these issues, and I think you will see that he teaches from a position of both practicality and faith. Even if you reach different conclusions on details, you will find an elder offering rare help for the sincere, in our transient world of faux Satanic performances.Nero is the real deal, and this is an exceptional introduction to our faith, and one with heart, soul and experience.

Devil Worship Disguised as Satanism
before this book, I had read many different works on the topic of Satanism and it's views and beliefs, but none have even come close to this. The writer is so out of touch with reality that he come across as being fanaticle. This books is written to sound like Satanic literature and within a few pages it was clear that this book's roots are in Devil Worship. Again i have read many books about Satanism all sharing the same basic idea and views on Satan and Demons, while this book preaches that Satan is real and is going to choose a few select souls to join him in a war to destroy the Christian God after death. That Hell is for those who "worship" Satan and heaven is for those who "worship" God, and all others will be put in purgatory until the final battle where they must choose a side or perish. The writer clearly states at the begining of the book that is was written as a way of trying to preach his idea of Satanism to people as a way of trying to bring back his failed Coven. The writer later goes on to discuss how by not putting Satan first before all and risking your job, and relationships with your friends and family is a sign of weakness. That a "true traditional Satanist" would devote their enitre lives to Satan regardless of wether or not your lose your job, or custody of your children, or your parents dis-owing you. Comparing not coming out as a Satanist to your loved ones as being the same as being Gay and not coming out to your loved ones. This book is dispicable and the worst piece of Satanic literature I have ever read. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
