This is after probably a week and a half or two weeks of using it every day very little patina was growing and I just had to clean it at that point because the copper taste was getting a little bit too much but they recommend to clean it every day. I just kinda wanted to know how long I could go without washing it. Things that I was concerned about were that it was welded. It does not look like it was welded. It looks like it’s very high-quality. I did notice a change in how my gut felt. I love the bottle. It’s super pretty. It does take work to have the bottle so you are going to have to clean it and they recommend letting it air dry. I would always put it by the window and leave it open and then put water before bed it the longer you let the water sit the more it’s gonna have a copper taste. They said that it doesn’t have a copper taste if you Put in another glass that it’s just your nose smelling it but probably by week two I had a really strong copper taste. I put it in a glass water container and it still tasted like copper but again that’s without any washing at all for two weeks. I see that the most discoloration came from where I would put my lips. I’m really happy with the bottle and the quality of it. It gives really good instructions on how to care for it and how to clean it. This isn’t just a regular bottle that you can just have it does require maintenance, but it is worth it.

I love my copper jug I take it with me everywhere I go. It’s very well loved, because I don’t keep it in a vessel bag it has a lot of dents. I love the benefits of drinking water out of it. I use distilled water. It’s a great jug!

I asked for discreet packaging from Amazon and it was received. This water bottle is absolutely beautiful. It comes in a very nice and sturdy box clearly marked, describing the craftsmanship that went into producing it. There are several cards inside the bottle with all the information you will need, and it even comes with an extra water tight band. The craftsmanship can be seen in every detail of the bottle. it is sturdy and I’ve decided from this moment forward I will probably carry it the rest of my life or however, long it lasts. I’m in my mid 30s right now so in about 50 or 60 years I will update this Amazon review. lol. I’m excited to see it change through the years. So excited to get started on better grounding and meditation with all the healthy ions I’ll be drinking. Otiem is the real deal and I would recommend over and over again!

3/26/2024: I've been using this cup daily for 364 days. It's taken quite the beating over that time. I recently had to hammer in the bottom because I've dropped it so much it was concaved outward and the bottle was wobbly. I wish the seller would sell packages of replacement o-rings or at least provide a contact to purchase more from. The discoloration on the top of the cup doesn't come off, but the rest of the cup cleans up nicely using ONLY kosher salt, lemon juice and a little hot water. Someone posted they used vinegar; don't. I like this cup but I'll be ordering a new one from Paani so I can get one with a silicone sleeve to protect the outside a little bit. Only thing I wish this cup did we have a wide enough mouth so I could put a different lid that has a flip top to it. I did but another one off Amazon for the lid to use at work; but it's not real copper. 3/27/2023: I have been using this cup every day since I bought it, which was over a month ago, and it has been working perfectly except for the fact that the lid doesn't seal properly. If the cup leans over, the water will leak out, but since it's only meant for holding water, it's not too much of a problem. The cup originally came with a rubber o-ring for the lid, but even if you tighten the lid as much as possible, the o-ring doesn't work very well.

I recently purchased the Otiem 34oz Pure Copper Bottle, and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. The bottle is advertised as being made of pure copper, which was a significant selling point for me. However, after using it for a short period, I noticed a rust-colored substance peeling off from the inside of the bottle. This is quite concerning, as it raises doubts about the purity and quality of the material used. Copper is known for its durability and health benefits, but the peeling issue suggests that the bottle might not be made of pure copper as claimed. The inside of the bottle deteriorating so quickly is unacceptable, especially for a product marketed as high-quality pure copper. Visually, the bottle does not look like pure copper either. The exterior finish seems different from the authentic copper items I own. This discrepancy between the product's claims and its actual quality is disappointing. Overall, I cannot recommend the Otiem 34oz Pure Copper Bottle based on my experience. If you are looking for a genuine pure copper bottle, you might want to consider other options that have better reviews and a proven track record of quality.

This is a really cute water bottle. It is easy to care for, I like that it doesn’t drip, and it came with an extra ring. My water does not have a metallic taste drinking out of this. I gave up my Stanley for this thing and I don’t regret it
