CURT45910 Replacement Shank for Adjustable Trailer Hitch Ball Mount #45900 or #45907, Fits 2-Inch Receiver

Seems like it could have used a beefier channel section. I am concerned about it cracking or breaking where the locking pin holes weaken the channel, as some here have reported. Still, it fit my needs and time will tell if it holds up. But I will be checking for cracks whenever I use the hitch for my 12k equipment trailer.I bought at a slight discount through Amazon Warehouse Deals and the two locking pins were not included. Not sure if they were *supposed* to be included, but they weren't included with the Curt 45920 pintle hitch either so I had to use my own.Good quality from Curt. It does not come with pins.I use the Bolt brand locking receiver pins to secure it to this adjustable hitch but if you do so you will need to trim away a portion of the rubber boot on the front of the Bolt lock to allow it to fit the width of the channel mount, It's only short by 3/16" or so, but it was the difference between using the Bolt lock a generic receiver pin. For me, securing the expensive hitch is worth the expense/effort of the Bolt lock.
