Withstands the Rigors of The Modern Post!
The media could not be loaded. Important Note:I won't show the top of the seal from my stamp, because it is incredibly personal, and left the bottom to show something. I crafted my stamp in my workshop, so it may not be the same depth of engraving as one you purchase from a store. My stamp is a 1 & 1/4 inch circle. This wax is the ultimate wax for sealing & mailing letters. The picture attached is one that a friend took, after my letter arrived to them in New York (I mailed it from Oregon), and the seal was on the external back side of the envelope. The writing and image that I censored with black were intact and not damaged in any way, as you can verify by the blobs surrounding the circle, and the art at the bottom. If you are looking for wax to perform mass-mailing, such as wedding or other event invitations, this is not the wax for you; when preparing to send elegant invitations, I advise you to use your search engine of choice for "self adhesive wax seals". No need to thank me, help someone else one day. Now, this wax isn't newbie proof, but don't let that scare you. All you need is at least one working eye to prevent bubbles. The way that I heat it up, video attached, written for those who prefer to read:1. Cut 1/8 inch of wax. (no ruler/tape? well, the lines on the wax each mark 1/16 of an inch)2. Grab your reusable METAL tablespoon (long ago sacrificed it to fulfill this task till the end of time)3. Place 1/8" of wax into table spoon4. Apply heat to the nose of the spoon, using your reusable Clipper lighter.• Rock back and forth to check if wax piece will slide on it's own.• Stop applying heat when (preferably before) you see smoke from wax• Move wax around (gently) with a poking tool• Apply more heat as needed5. Pour.• Wipe bottom of spoon with paper towel!6. Move paper around to spread if needed (no rush, you have all the time in the world!).7. ALIGN, then SMASH THAT STAMP! (I leave my stamp sitting on a cube of ice during heat up of spoon).• Allow to cool slightly (ice decreases wait).8. Hold paper with fingers, and with one strong & swift vertical motion, remove stamp.• Think removing a cap from a needle.Everyone loves pros and cons right?Pros:• Flexible• Retains form• Bonds to a variety of paper• Has 1/16 inch marks on entire stick• Takes a while to heat up (I list this here because it's been useful when mailing during high heat summers)• Doesn't smell horrible when burnt, and doesn't smell normally• Survives the United States Postal ServiceCons• Takes a while to heat up• May need lubricant/moisture (water) to release EASILY from stamp (it's because it's flexible and retains form)• Takes a while to cool down (ice helps)• Not for mass-mailingTip:Use acrylic paint marker to add color to the raised portion of your cooled seal!

Darker, melts smoothly/quickly, and makes beautiful seals!
It is pretty dark in color compared to the seal they show in the photos but it is still beautiful looking. It is certainly midnight blue and not so much the navy that the seal is shown as above so be aware of that when you are purchasing. It makes quite nice seals but I will mention that the first time I tried making a seal with it (using a lighter to melt it) it seemed to melt a bit clumpy/in globs at certain points. Making the second seal (Which is shown in the photos that don't have the wax stick in them with the seal) I didn't have that much of a problem and it seemed to melt quite nicely/quickly and made a good seal. It could be because that was the first time I used wick-less wax and the first time using this company's products since it seemed to have a different consistency than I was used to. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise however due to it being much easier to melt without going through a lot of matches or holding a lit lighter for an extended period of time compared to the other (wicked) waxes I have used in the past. The seals seem to be very flexible and hold quite nicely as well which I really do love.I would highly recommend this wax and am including photos with this review as well.

Been around the the 15th century, they know wax quality.
This is the first sealing wax I have used and, buying other waxes have shown me that this is the only sealing wax you EVER want to use. Top quality, authentic, does not look cheap like all the other wax you'll see at Walmart or other places. I did a lot of researching to find the best quality wax seal and this has definitely proven to be above the rest of sealing waxes. If Coco Chanel had used it, you KNOW it's a good wax seal. Perfect for Hogwarts acceptance letters, weddings, and all else. Will definitely buy again.

Works Great
I had no experience doing wax envelope seals. It was super easy to use. Melted without issue but also didn't harden so fast that I had to rush to stamp it. After hardening, seal was still supple and I had no issues with sending the envelopes through USPS.

Decent quality wax for sealing
Using this has a learning curve. It is pliable yet durable enough to survive the postage system without needing to be placed in another envelop. If you wish to use this, I recommend lighting the end of the stick, then rubbing it over the area you wish to place your seal. Just like in ancient times, a single swipe over an area is all you'll need for a seal. Also, don't get caught up in making a circle of wax, it's near impossible to get it perfect and just having a swipe adds a bit more character to your seal.

Amazing stuff
This stuff is amazing. Easily goes through mail and it sticks and looks perfect. Very supple and needs to be sort of torn to open, sort of like dried glue - doesn't crack like a plain wax might. It's flexible and durable and looks great. Very much worth the extra money.

Exactly What I Wanted!
The wax is rich, yet supple. It melts with a minimum of smoking and, being wick-less, no carbon residue. It takes the stamp very well and holds its shape through the mail. This is quality stuff. It's expensive, but nearly worth it.I bought mine from Hyatt's All Things Creative and they shipped promptly and my order arrived in perfect condition - no broken sticks. I wish I could find it in more colors, though.

This wax is ok for mailing as it is flexible.
Arrived on time and as described. Is better for mailing as it will not crack as easily as other types of sealing wax.

Good sealing wax
Supple wax so it won't crack in the mail. Not cheap though. Also while it is glfour sticks and you can make it go a long way, each stick is only about 3 inches long and about 3/8 inch square. The picture make them look larger. Not a knock against them, just something to be aware of. Also these do not have a wick which is the way I prefer them.

Great For Modern Postal Service
I've used brittle wax before and when I sent a letter to a friend with that, the wax seal completely broke off. I then researched more into it and it turns out that "Supple Wax" is a good wax as it's flexible. Now when I sent this wax seal, the letter arrived with the seal on and the shimmer on it is absolutely gorgeous! I've sent close to 8 letters now and I have not even finished with 1 stick (you get 4 in a box). It's beautiful and if you want to flair up some letters, this is a great way of doing so!
