Heartwarming, hilarious and with emotionally complex issues that Kristen and Josh navigate, including infertility. I thought Kristen, the FMC, was fantastic, she was witty and gave off a charismatic energy that was really engaging. Josh, the MMC, was sweet and thoughtful. Spice level was 🌶️🌶️! I didn’t realize there was two more books in the series. It does come together nicely in the end, but I’m excited to read the next two.4.25⭐️/5

I enjoyed this book. It has humor and shows wonderful relationships between friend and lovers. The banter is fun and the author includes serious, realistic situations that makes the novel and relationships more textured and not one dimensional. I do admit the misunderstandings between Josh and Kristen was a little prolonged but once that was cleared up the story moved forward very quickly. I appreciated that the author was able to integrate serious issues like infertility, managing unexpected death of close friends and coping with poor self esteem. This book was the debut novel from the author and, although her other books show how much she has developed over the years, this one is still better than most similar books currently in the market. Two thumbs up, your time spent reading this book will not be wasted.

First, I wanted to read Abby Jimenez. I have had so many friends recommend her to me, and say phenomenal things about the books. And two, I thought this would be a fluffy low spice romance with a great story.This was a great story. It was full of depth, character growth, and had an emotional plot twist I never saw coming. This story revolves around the subject of infertility for a woman and her journey to finding herself worthy of love.This story blew me away. I don’t remember the last time a story made me laugh and cry with such frequency. I also don’t think i’ve ever related more to an FMC. She is imperfect, brutally honest, and makes choices with facts and logic. Sometimes it’s a journey to let love in for yourself, or someone else when you don’t think with your heart.There are so many insightful lines in this book. Be prepared to make some memories with this one.I loved this story, and I can’t wait to read more from Abby Jimenez.Happy Reading, Friends xx

Overall, I liked this book and pretty much could not put the second half down. I like Jimenez's style, and she fleshes out the characters very well. I liked the character development of Kristen, Josh, Brandon, Tyler, etc. The story had very funny parts, laugh out loud parts and gut wrenching sad parts too. Jimenez navigated them all well. Unfortunately, the "whiplash" of Kristen going back and forth and back and forth about her feelings for Josh vs. how she treated him got VERY tiresome and by the time I got to the end it was just a bit hard to like her. I found her actions a bit hard to believe when we know so deeply what's in her heart. That all being said, I'll be reading the other books in the trilogy and I like Jimenez's storytelling!

The characters were just so lovable even with their issues. I can’t say I loved the way the love story progressed and the lack of communication drove me nuts but I loved Josh and Kristin all the same. The way Abby talked about infertility was refreshing and well done and felt like it brought a lot of not talked about feelings to the forefront. On top of that the side characters got me in the feels. Enjoyed it and will definitely be reading more from Abby.

It was better than I expected. I loved Kristen’s funny personality. I got some good laughs from her! Their love story kind of took a long time to get to but I’m glad it ended happy for them. I kind of predicted the baby in the end but never predicted Brandon’s incident. That made me sad. Good book, though, & I look forward to reading the next one. I finished this in two days!

Woman with fertility issues meets man who wants a big family. They fall in love and the challenges begin.Enjoyed the story and the character development. Despite sadness and loss, the story still had an HEA with a promise of more in the future. I would love to see MFC's BFF Sloane again in a future book.

This of course was a good book. I haven't read one yet that I didn't enjoy by Abby J. This one pulls at your heart strings for sure. Kristen is going through a lot. She went through a lot growing up too. Shes learned to sort of close herself off. She doesn't feel worthy of true happiness. Thanks to Evelyn. Insert handsome paramedic/fireman Josh. He makes her feel all the ways she doesn't expect to feel. But her eyes begin to open. And she lets herself feel. But in her mind she will never get the happy ending, Josh won't want her when he finds out she's "damaged goods". Or will he? This book is packed with a lot of emotion. The event that happens towards the end of the book made me cry instantly. I'm not going to give anything away but wow..that was tough and unexpected.But I love the strength and friendships in this book. And of course the ending had me swooning! This book is filled with ups and downs and it's so worth it!Trigger warning-infertility.

I couldn’t read it fast enough!!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Josh is a great character, everyone needs a Josh in their life!I found myself laughing in some places & crying in others. Predictable ending? Of course- I don’t think I would have been happy if it hadn’t been!!!

The book is well written and fun but quite frustrating for those like me who just want to yell at the characters to simply effing talk, especially when the MFC is praised for her honesty...

Package came really fast with Amazon premium.The book was not my favourite.

Si el inglés no es tu idioma dominante o quieres comenzar a leer en este idioma, es un libro MUY fácil y sencillo de leer.Es un libro divertido y dulce, una de las cosas que más me sorprendían es que no podía predecir qué era lo que sucedería después. Además de la química entre los protagonistas que se me hizo estupenda. Menciona problemas de infertilidad que tienden a suceder pero casi no se habla que pone a reflexionar bastante.Un chick-lit entretenido, lindo.Es un buen libro para pasar el rato pues lo leí solo en un día y pienso continuar conociendo más de la autora.
