Nam: A Photographic History

This is a very nice thick book full of pictures and great information. I am very pleased with the content. I am sorry to say, however, I thought it would be in better shape, as the binding was torn and fell apart. I was a little deceived in the condition when I bought it. Either that, or it tore apart during shipping? But the book itself is very good!

The first and last media covered war. 1,000,000 dead Afghanistans but no news items. Where are the videos? Where are the photos? 2,325 U.S. military deaths. Where are the videos? Where are the photos? Where are the journalists? So, make the most of it. Read this book. It's all you'll get.

This was a war of my generation. Has a lot of interesting knowledge about how we got involved in the war, and us leaving. Any one wanting to get a better view of the casualties of war, and the conditions the y fought in should get this book. Really puts Iraq and Afghanistan into a whole new perspective.

I bought this book for my dad for Father's Day. He is a Vietnam veteran, and he loved it. He couldn't put it down....great purchase.**This book is HUGE and has great pictures.

This is an outstanding compilation of the years of the Vietnam War. I purchased it for reference purposes and it suits my purpose quite well.

This is a good review of the Vietnam War. Having participated, personally, I find it very interesting and accurate. It shows the relevancy of having photo journalists covering our wars because it can help us do things better in the ensuing ones.....we hope. Great pictures!

This book far exceeded my expectations. Despite its size and weight!! It is very comprehensive and the written essays are very helpful in its chronological order. Being a student of the Vietnam War, I appreciate the availability of books such as this one.
