Diane Wood Square Paddle Boar, Large Square (D9003)

I ordered this brush because I was looking for a large paddle brush with boar bristles. It's a full size paddle brush and I'm very happy with it. I have very long hair and the large paddle makes brushing my hair go much faster. The boar bristles smooth my hair out and help prevent frizz. If I brush my hair when it's dry it can cause some static cling effect however, but a few sprays of water solve that immediately and my hair dries smooth in minutes. It also seems to improve the shine in my hair, and since i'm a brunette I need all the shine I can get. I recommend this product for people with lots of hair.

This brush is so bomb and does the job on slicking back my hair, where I don't need to brush it a thousand times.

I have been trying to find a simple, cheap hairbrush with NO plastic bristles for what seems like ever! This one popped up and I immediately ordered it. NO plastic bristles at all! Just (what I assume are) nylon bristles that do not break or pull out what is left of my thinning (due to illness and medicine) hair. Thanks to this seller for actually having one for me to replace my very old and falling apart brush of many years! Definitely worth the small price I paid!

I'm a no poo-er (wash my hair with baking soda and condition and rinse with apple cider vinegar ) . I'm not a big fan of over brushing hair - but with this method you really do need to do a good brush once a day to distribute the oil from your scalp to your ends . This brush is perfect for the job . I have long wavy hair . I brush my hair before bed with this brush and it helps take and make my hair more wavy . Love how big it is . I replace them every 6-months to a year ( i try to wash them every week as well ) so I've been through 3 of these , I always buy this one -it's my favorite !

I swear by boar bristles, it evenly spreads out the oil in your hair, taking it from the root all the way to the tip. Added bonus...no static! This brush is so well made, I think it'll last me twenty years or more... no kidding.

OMG!!!! It smells so bad. When I opened the bag it came in it smelled as if I was entering a rubber tire factory at full production! I have left it to air out and after 2 day...it still smells. I don't think I can use it because I don't want my hair to smell!

This is a very nice brush. The wood is varnished and well-polished, and the bristles are solidly attached. I was impressed at the quality especially for $5. It did have a strong rubber chemical smell upon arrival, but I expect that will go away after it airs out. *Update** After a month, the brush still smells. I've tried washing it in soap and spritzing it with Windex, but it still smells of chemical rubber. The smell is not as strong as it was at first, but it is still there. The smell is why I downgraded this to 3 stars.

This is a nice brush. The bristles are kind of stiff, though. So if you're after a softer bristle, this isn't it. Wood paddle brushes with boar bristles are hard to find in stores, so I'm glad I was able to find this one for such a low price.

My three-year-old hates to brush her hair. She always tells me that it hurts. Her just this brush and as have to make things easier for us it has been a great help. Awesome hair brush for kids.

This is the best affordable brush I’ve found to sleek your hair perfectly into a ponytail or a bun. The hard boar bristles really sleek your hair! One of the few I’ve tried that actually tame your hair with only one pass !

Has a plastic scent. The bristles are soft but they do a decent job at neatening the hair line.
