Won’t fit in women’s shoes
I injured my ankle recently after missing the last step getting off a ladder and this support was recommended as an alternative to the traditional boot used for such injuries (I opted to buy it from Amazon after being sure my insurance wouldn’t pay for it and not liking the $185 price tag in the dr’s office!). I’m glad I did make the Amazon purchase because the support won’t fit in any of my shoes (I wear a women’s 7.5 shoe). In order to get it to fit in even a tennis shoe I have to unlace the shoe to the extent that it slides around when I walk which is unsafe. I’m now using it only when I go around barefoot in the house, and instead purchased a Mueller cross over support brace which does fit in my shoe and feels like it gives much better support to the interior of the ankle than this model.

Not like the one my doctor gave me
I ordered this because it looked like the one that my doctor gave me to put on after I came out of the boot. I wanted one for my other ankle. This one was not at all like the one that I got from my doctor. This one was made of thin material and didn’t give the support like the one that I got from my doctor so I returned it. My ankle didn’t feel supported in this like the other one.
