Healthy granola bars are usually..... disgusting. Not these!
Healthy granola bars are usually..... disgusting. Not these! These are a bit high in sugar, but they have a good amount of protein, easy to keep in a purse, and are great for on the go allergen-free snacks for myself. This dark chocolate peanut butter flavor is my favorite. It tastes like a candy bar really. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip flavor is a close second in my opinion, These bars are gluten free, soy and dairy free. I first tried these at my doctors office but have found its easier to just buy a case from Amazon. The ingredients in this bar are mostly organic, but some parts like the whey protein is not organic. It would only make me like these bars more if the entire thing was organic. If you're looking for a good tasting, non-chalky, feel like you're eating dessert or a good snack, it's worth checking these out. I love them so much I always make sure I won't run out!

Delicious and nutricious!
A very tasty and healthy little snack! Sugar content is a little high, but oh well. I would suggest buying these when they're on sale because in my opinion that's when they're worth the money. Full price and these things become awfully expensive!

Delicious and nutritious
I love protein bars, but recently had to switch to a low sodium diet for health reasons. Thankfully I found Zing, and they allow me to still have one of my favorite snacks without a lot of sodium. And, most important, they taste good too.

I used to by 2-3 boxes of these a month
I used to buy 2-3 boxes of this protein bar a month. They were wonderful and then they changed the ingredients and they are now terrible. I don’t know why you did it Zing Bars but you should undo it because you’ll lose more customers.

They’re gluten and dairy free!
Love the flavor and the fact that I can skip a meal or have it for a snack to tide me over to my next meal! The only complaint I have is the bars are pretty pricey at $25 or $26 dollars for 12 bars only. These particular flavored bars are not on the subscribe and save menu like other flavors are. I love them so much so I buy them anyway!!! I buy them every week or week and a half so it ends up being over $100 dollars a month! Yikes!!! Don’t tell my husband 😂

Yummy!
These bars are a little treat in my day, no guilt included! They are made with ingredients like Agave and Chickory Root- so very little fluff like most other bars. No preservatives, added fats or sugars. The fat comes from the nuts (healthy fat), the sugar is Agave and the Carob Chocolate. As far as a bar can be healthy (and taste good) this bar hits the mark. It is very high in fiber (4 grams) and protein (13 grams), so make sure to down at least 8 ounces of water with the bar- especially if you aren't used to a high fiber diet. I have heard the other flavors are good, but I have only tried the chocolate chip peanut butter, which is also good. Enjoy!

Melty mess
The first rule of nutrition/snack/energy bars when it comes to adding chocolate; put the chocolate INSIDE the bar.Clif, RX Bar, Larabar, Powerbar (the energy bar type, not the protein type), Raw Revolution all put chocolate inside their products, not on the outside where it will melt and make a mess. The Zing Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar chocolate coating was melted and messy upon delivery (from Amazon), and of course since it was a 90 degree August day. So I put the bars in the refrigerator, but that made the bars impossible to bite into! The melted coating sticks to the wrapper so when the bar is opened, it's either a gooey mess, or if the bar has cooled since it its initial exposure to heat bits of chocolate fall off onto your hands, onto your clothes, onto the floor... you get the idea. Either way it's a bloody mess.So this Zing bar has a very narrow temperature range of usability - I'd say 50˚F to 70˚F is it. You can't put one of these Zing bars in your pocket or cycling jersey without creating a real mess when it's opened, and you can't keep them cold without breaking your teeth on them.Otherwise, the Zing Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter bar tastes decent. It has a chewy consistency, not as sticky as a Tootsie Roll but about as stiff. I recommend small bites. It's not too sweet and the peanut flavor is modest. The chocolate could be better - it isn't all that rich. It didn't "wow" me.One of these bars keeps me satiated for a couple of hours and for me has a glycemic index low enough that my insulin doesn't spike. But keep in mind these bars do have sugar.Zing makes a big deal about the fact their products are created By professional nutritionists... yeah well those professional nutritionists might want to learn a thing or two about the melting point of chocolate.

Chocolate covered bars are mostly good
I really like the mint, mocha, and coconut bars. My favorite, however, was the peanut butter bar. It tasted almost exactly like a Butterfinger candy bar, but better (and healthier). The macros in these are nicely balanced. One problem is that the last delivery of the peanut butter bars were...stale, maybe? I think they melted a bit, but that doesn't explain the major shift in flavor and texture. Instead of being crisp like the first two boxes I had, they tasted old and a bit gummy. The flavor is still pretty good, but the texture is just unpleasant. We're trying one more time. I really hope they haven't changed the recipe.
