(The guy at the store tried to insist that it was compatible, but I had verified it with another Verizon staff member on the Verizon website, so he already lost his argument before he started.)I looked at several different charging stands here on Amazon, but most of them looked too "modern" (translate that as "something that looks so ridiculous that I wouldn't buy it for my teenage daughter"). In fact, Verizon had another one that promised to be compatible, but it too looked like it was designed by a 6 year old. This one with its 3 coils has no trouble at all charging my phone. And it looks very basic - something you might find sitting in an executive's office, rather than in a child's bedroom. I am using the 2.1A power supply that came with my tablet to feed the charger, so I have plenty of power.The only thing I wish it had is a non-slip surface on the front and the back of the charger. Even the non-slip mat that comes with it is only non-slip on the bottom, so the charger can slide if I have it propped up in the vertical position on the mat. But that is very minor. Even the position of the cord, which others have complained about, is perfect for my purpose. I have limited space on my nightstand, so it would be impractical for me to have the cord sticking out the side. Having it sticking out the top allows me to sandwich the charger between two other items without sacrificing any room.All in all, I think I am happier with this charger than I have been with any other item I have purchased on Amazon recently. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic charger, works perfect for my Nexus 6 *by J***V on March 29, 2016* I used this charger for my Nexus 6 for about 1/2 a year before I upgraded to the Nexus 6P. I specifically chose this model so that I could have my phone propped up a bit on my bedside table. That way, when my alarm when off in the morning, I could more easily see the time without accidentally knocking it off the charger and onto the floor. Since this charge has a built in stand and bottom flip out "shelf" that your phone sits in, I never had any issues with it getting knocked off the charger. The stand and shelf fold down so that you can use this as a flat table top charger as well.Creating a connection with the phone was fairly simple, as long as you had it centered on the charger, it connected without any problems. The only oddity with the Nexus 6 was the curved back which caused it to sit a little bit to one side if you put it down haphazardly. However, this really wasn't an issue after putting it on the charger a couple times and getting used to it.Charging speed is slower compare to charging with a 2A charger and USB cable, but it's much more convenient than having to plug the cable in each time. Other than using a cable if I need to charge quick before leaving the house, I used this charger every night to replenish my battery for the next day. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone who has a Nexus device that they want to use wireless charging for (although, please note that this will not work for the newer Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P with USB C ports, they do not support wireless charging). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not great if you have a case on your phone... *by F***7 on May 21, 2015* Charges well. However, there is a problem. When put in the vertical/display configuration, there is a flip out lip that holds the bottom of your phone. The lip has two small teeth at the edge, ostensibly to lock in your phone a little bit more. However, these teeth are only far enough out to accept a naked phone. If you have even the thinnest of covers on your phone, it won't fit. I have to rest my phone on top of the teeth, which is tricky. Otherwise, the teeth will try and pry off your case.
