Well, damn! Finally found a mascara for the no-make-up girl and/or restoring lashes to your 20s
I loathe mascara and generally do not enjoy make-up beyond a few lip treatments. I don't like the time, the effort, the money, the way it feels on my skin, the massive effort to get it off, the aging, the artifice and my complete lack of coordination (for reference, I have a Fine Arts degree, so hand-eye is not the problem, but the patience and specific skill to apply media to one's face).TLDR: good make-up is an art form, but I hate it on my face.I've spent my whole life successfully avoiding make-up, save for a minimal effort for job interviews and, again, my preference for lip liner/stick/gloss/etc. But there comes a time when the 50-ish woman realizes that Nature is cruel and suddenly you can't see your eyelashes anymore. They're still there, but somehow not showing up (literally)on the job.TLDR: The older you get, any grace you can find is appreciated.Enter THIS mascara. It's like rewinding time on your lashes to your 20s.It's not clumping, or volumizing, or extending, or anything that screams make-up or hairy caterpillars on my eyelids. It doesn't feel gummy when you close your eyes, and a touch of the finger removes any mascara that gets on your skin, which also means I will not need a scouring pad to remove the goo later.TLDR: Low commitment, low maintenance, low profile, feels like it isn't even there, and no one will know. you're wearing it, but it looks good.I stumbled across this wand design a few weeks ago - one of those outrageously-priced ones that I could never bring myself to buy unless on the steepest of sales - and was intrigued. So I found this one: affordable, sleek, and with the same minimal wand.I have always loathed mascara and I thought the problem was the goop. NOPE. The WAND is the magic. And this wand is the one for me. I can even see myself wearing this every day.UPDATE: Because it's not gummy or clumpy nor completely impervious to nuclear warfare, it does get a bit smudgy by the end of the day. For me, not a dealbreaker - I'm not looking for 24-hour iron-clad lashes - and I just take damp cloth and wipe them off, then re-apply, if necessary. I wouldn't do a crying stint with eye-smearing in this, unless you wanted to go full-panda, but at that point, there are probably bigger problems than just "looking pretty." (And if you're leaving your 40s, you basically have an invisibility cloak, anyway... (yep, sorry, middle-aged women ARE invisible to society. But it is some superpower, and it's better with it than without it!)

The only mascara I will use
I love the brush on this mascara. I have a difficult time applying mascara anyway and all those other ones with the big brush I have never learned to master. This gets right close to your lid so it almost looks like you have eyeliner on. Which is great since I can't apply eyeliner either. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone!

Amazing stuff!
So, confession- I was looking for a tightliner (because the time I couldn’t get the it cosmetics tightliner time for when I needed it) so after a quick Amazon search I bought this because of the name -Annabelle- which was my cat’s name and I bought this around the time we had to put her to sleep. Kind of a silly reason to buy something, but that was my reason. This stuff is awesome! I use tightliner as my actual mascara so this skinny mascara is perfect for me! I wear glasses and do have sensitive eyes so I don’t wear a lot of eye makeup. I do like a little mascara though because I always get makeup or powder in my lashes. It’s crazy, because the product doesn’t necessarily say it will do this, but I feel my lashes have improved! They seem more full, thicker, I don’t know. I just see a lot of improvement having used this since October 2021. I will continue to repurchase this when needed!

Good tiny brush
I like the brush to use on my pitiful tiny lower lashes but there is not much product in the tube.

Tightline dupe! 10/10
I have lashes so tiny on one eye the lower lashes are longer. Tightline with it's tiny brush was the only thing that grabbed every lash and made them visible; until i found this! Same tiny brush, way better formula and price. It's a small tube but the price is worth it IMO bc it doesn't dry out after a couple of weeks nor does it get lumpy. If anyone at NYX is paying attention, Please, Please come out with a Brown as well as a waterproof formula. If this is ever discontinued i will cry.

Bottom lashes love this
This is the skinniest, most thin mascara wand I’ve ever met, and it’s perfect for the lower lashes. I’ve also used L’Oreal Telescopic mascara because of the thin brush, and this brush is MUCH softer and doesn’t distribute as much product as the Telescopic, which can get a little messy. If you don’t like the little hard plastic teeth sorts of mascara wands, but still want to get close to the lash line with fluttery separation, definitely try this one.

Brush is perfect but formula is flakey
I was so excited to find this mascara after deciding to start looking for natural-look mascaras. I love the idea of the tiny brush to really catch all lashes and coat evenly. The brush is great, not the problem. The consistency is dry and flakey, immediately out of the package! I applied this for the first time, went into my bedroom, and 5 minutes later I had several flakes on my face. I am so, so disappointed. Why is it so hard to find the perfect natural looking mascara?
