I've had this for several months now. It has worked every time. I have 3 goldfish in a container pond on my patio in Florida, and it has kept them fed for up to three weeks. The battery has never been fully drained, even with that much use, but I do charge it before use just to ensure a full charge. I did have to cobble together a protective shield to keep rain off of it. It's pretty easy to program , but the directions are not that helpful. There's plenty of food capacity for my fish - I use pellets so the humidity won't affect the food.

Great small gadget! Bought this to take care of our fish while we are out of town for the weekend. Our fish was happily fed every 12hrs as scheduled. We kept using it even when we are home, one less thing to worry. Its nice that you can also use manual feed if you want to feed fish on demand. We sticked it on the top of the tank, its stable and worked good.

I had to use this but it put out too much food. I have one large fish so the opening has to be big enough for the pellets to fit through. That left more room for a lot of pellets to fall through. So what I did was open the rectangular window to the size of the pellets then put tape over half of the rectangle to make it a square. That let just the right amount of food fall through the opening. It was easy to use and easy to set up. I suggest filling it and practicing over an empty bowl until you get it just right amount. Then I used it while I was home the week before I left to try out my new size setting. I found the amount of pellets varied in a set position for 8 pellets. It dispenses 6-14 pellets. That’s a big difference if I only want him to eat 8 and he eats 15. But… I figured one day too much maybe the next day too little is better than worrying while you’re not home. It all evens out at the end. Plus this fish food dispenser is rechargeable. I would recommend this feeder the quality is good and it worked for when I needed it.

This has worked great, I have been using it on and off for over a year, the battery last long and is rechargeable, I have charged it maybe twice since I’ve had it, I use it when I go out of town and turn it off when I’m back, I do like to personally feed my fish, so when I’m back I just close the food outlet window, which is ajustable depending on the size of the food, I have tiny balls therefore have to calculate precisely how much to open the outlet window, because opening it too much will dispense way too much food.

We wanted this to work so badly. We know that we can leave our adult water turtle for a week with no food, however we prefer not to. We go away for 3/4 days often and to have someone come over just to feed the turtle is just an inconvenience. This device was not intuitive to use, it was not accurate nor was it reliable. We tried it for a week with turtle pellets, other than failing to feed on two days nothing was consistent. I suggest you look at the disc/UFO shaped feeders with the separate compartments. Good luck with whatever you buy, just don't buy this.

Once you figure out how to charge and operate this fish feeder, it does a good job at what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately, the instructions are terrible. Although easy to figure out, there is no mention of how to charge the feeder. The worst is that there is absolutely no explanation of how it works! I almost broke it trying to separate the plastic pieces until I realized it rotated in a circle and you had to slide the small "door" open to allow food to fall out. Because of water that splashes due to water return from my filter, some moisture gets inside the feeder and dissolves some of the food. In addition, the clamp to hold to the side of the tank does not give a lot of flexibility and I had to improvise, clamp it to a piece of wood and attach that to the tank. Once I sorted all of that out, it seems to be working well. My other criticism is that (in part due to the moisture that gets in) it is a challenge to estimate how much the "door" needs to be open to regulate the amount of food per feeding. Be aware that you are not able to set a specific time when feedings occur (only the interval)-or, if you can, it is not explained in the instructions.

This auto fish feeder has been going strong for almost 5 months! Initially, I purchased this in preparation for a month-long vacation to Asia, but I've continued to use it even after returning home. Pros: The scheduled feeding functionality of this device is really effective and reliable. It features 2X, 1X, or 0.5X per day feeding schedules, with the time of feeding corresponding to the time the corresponding button (12hr, 24hr, or 48hr) is pressed. It also has a manual feeding button. As far as convenience, it is battery-powered using a USB-C rechargeable internal battery, so no messy wires around the fish tank. Cons (very minor): Proper mounting of the device requires the tank lid to be open, but it is extremely stable when mounted. Also, the 'trap door' that the fish food dispenses from could have been designed a little better because the opening could deliver inconsistent amounts. Overall, I am very pleased with the product now that I no longer worry about missing a feeding session due to forgetfulness.

Molto utile se hai molti pesci o se vuoi dosare le quantità con precisione. Modalità automatica preimpostata: scegli tu l'intervallo (8, 12, 24 o 48 ore) e lei parte da sola dal momento in cui la attivi. C'è anche il comodissimo tasto "MANUALE" per dare un extra quando vuoi vederli mangiare. Il kit è davvero completo: cavetto USB per ricaricarla, una porta di ricambio e persino l'anello da fissare in acqua per evitare che il cibo si disperda ovunque per la vasca. La quantità di cibo si regola facilmente tramite una piccola finestrella a scorrimento sul serbatoio.

I bought two units for my two fish tanks (30 litres with about 25 danios in each tank). I connected the feeders to the power socket (not sure what is battery life per charge). The feeders kept my fishes alive for a month in my absence.

I got this feeder for my betta fish, Snap, and it’s been a lifesaver. It’s easy to set up, reliable, and dispenses food on schedule, so I don’t have to worry if I’m out for the day or away for a weekend. Snap gets his meals on time, and I get peace of mind. The manual feed button is a nice bonus when I want to give him a little extra. It’s quiet, holds a good amount of food, and hasn’t jammed or malfunctioned. Honestly, it might be more consistent than me remembering to feed him. Would definitely recommend!
