I already have a 20 inch light bar mounted that really floods the area nicely. But I’ve been looking for round spot lights that are super illuminative and throw the beam a very far distance. I’ve tried 4 different other brands and have been disappointed with the brightness and distance. These lights are the keepers! Super, super bright and the light projects probably at least 200 yards. The only negative is the mounting. It’s not very friendly to custom mounting. I installed these lights mounted to my bull bar. Which is like 3 inch thick tubing. The bolts that come with the lights are not long enough. I went to two major hardware stores to try and find longer, compatible bolts, and could find none. The bolt has to be the exact size as what comes with the light because they use a design that captures the head of the bolt, which keeps it from spinning as you tighten the nut. If the bolt head spins, there is no way to get a wrench on it to keep it from spinning as you tighten the nut. I was able to rig something up with a smaller diameter bolt (5/16”x18 x 4”). Using star washers to keep the bolt head from spinning internally. If you are just bolting these lights up to a flat plate or bracket, then no problem. If you are doing something custom that will require longer bolts. Then you better be mechanically creative. You also have to disassemble the light brackets if you want to change out to a longer bolt. You will need metric Allen hex wrenches.

I replaced a 12in light bar with these. I was looking for light beam to shine way out and these are great. Probably light up 200-300 yards ahead.

These are so bright that they really should be used for off road only. If you are looking for factory style running lights these will be too bright, but they are great.

I bought these lights after seeing what was out there. I put them on my 2002 Dodge 3/4 Tn. been out in the hills hunting and cutting wood. These lights are Great for the price. really lights up everything. Kinda pain in the Butt to install with the catch on the back side of the mount bolt. I made it work and they aren't going anywhere now.S.B.

I'm extremely impressed with these. I have a set of Quadratec lights that were more than twice the price that I bought first, and these seem equally well made, and are equally as bright. Wish I would have just bought these in the first place!
