DYZDPlastic Buckle Repair Kit Quick Release Buckles No Sewing Required for Backpack Bag (2pcs Khaki,25 mm)

An expensive High Sierra backpack got caught in a car door. Broke the original strap slide control buckle. High Sierra has those permanently affixed O-rings at the end of the strap that prevent threading it through the new buckle. I got this to avoid cutting the strap at either end. The slits made it easy to put them on and so far they are working great. They feel like the same thickness and sturdiness of the original buckle. For now I will go with a different strap on each side. If this proves effective in the long term I may remove the other original buckle and use the replacement part so both sides look and function the same.

Good replacememt buckles...no worries...Beware though ! They may look like your other buckles....they did not match up with a few of my buckles necessatating changing out the male & female. Otherwise...good stuff.

Great replacement for kids waders. They keep me from having to buy new ones. Would recommend easy installation.

Our cycling family and friends all use Ortlieb bike bags. We use them daily but their buckles keep breaking. We tried the Ortlieb replacement and found them impossible to install. We discovered the DYZD on Amazon and found that they work perfectly. We are ordering more so that we'll always have a supply on hand.

I was so bummed when the buckles on my Ortlieb Panniers broke. But after looking on youtube for an easy fix, they recommended new buckles like these that don't require sewing the bag. They work perfectly and I continue to use my 4-year-old bags to bike to work every day. The perfect fix for me. So grateful.

My dog chewed the buckles off a leash, once I got the old buckles off (difficult) putting these new ones on securely was great. Be sure you get the right size for your strap, and that you have a little patience to get them securely on and they will work perfectly...... But the buckle part snapped after the first big tug from my 56lbs German shepherd mix. To be clear it stayed attached to the leash, but the buckle itself broke.

I am a long distance cyclist and have a large Ortlieb bag that fits under the rear of my bike saddle. After 10 years of use, the plastic closure piece on the buckle failed. I was wondering what I would use to repair it when I learned about the replacement buckles sold on Amazon. I had to use wire cutters to remove the old buckles and it took some maneuvering to get these buckles installed. They are perfect! They are very secure and they came as a set of four. If any of my friends have the same problem, I can give them a perfect replacement buckle.
