Love the bigger size!
Always used the smaller (orange handle) saw and it worked great until the blades went dull. However, the bigger size and obviously a new blade cut through the deer pelvic bone with ease. Small, lightweight, tough and effective.

Must have for hunting deer
Had to replace my old saw (was 20 years old, ran thru the dishwasher and probably used on 50 deer in it's life. Borrowed to many in deer camp to show why you need one). A must have for field dressing a deer. Love that it's from small town North Dakota!!

Works great for whitetail
I use a saw to cut through the pelvis when field dressing whitetail and this works great. There is very little chance of cutting the bladder or intestines due to the plastic tip, unlike the saw that I was using previously. It dies have a short stroke but that's good; a longer stroke would only increase the probability of catching unwanted tissue. To those that have complained of it rusting, coat the warm blade with animal fat and you won't have to worry about it. Veg oil works too.

Great Product
I have the regular Sagen Saw which is smaller and I’ve used it for years field dressing deer which has worked flawlessly.I wanted to get the bigger size to see if it was even better than the smaller one.Haven’t used it yet but I’m sure if it’s anything like the smaller one it will work just as well.

Very good
Excellent little saw. I was disappointed at my firs attempt until I realized the saw cuts on the pull strokes and not on the push strokes like a normal saw. I like the saw and will not go hunting again without it

Muy buena herramienta. Lamentablemente se manchó con el primer uso
Excelente para realizar la faena de procesar un animal de cacería . Mal que haya quedado con manchas luego de su primer uso. Espero que esas manchas no terminen en óxido
