3MSeam Sealer Tape, 08475, 3/8 in x 30 ft, 1 Roll, Gray, Solvent-Activated Adhesive, for Automotive

Used this special item to seam seal the inside rim of my vintage car's fender skirts to the body. The width was perfect and the seal fits snug.

A bit narrower than 3/8 but worked OK to to cover after some rust repair on door bottom seams.

Used it to seal some panels on my old van. So far all of the seams have held. But it has been only 6 months. Not a loose seam yet. It is 3M, so you are getting a high quality items. Sticks to old paint well, if its cleaned with thinner first. After 10 degree temps, its still holding perfect. Painted over it immediately and painted perfect.

Very easy to use, and can be repositioned. Convenience doesn’t come cheap. Wish it was a bit thicker, it’s a little thinner than a stick of chewing gum. Not sure why 3M picked such an atrocious color. Overall a great product.

Goes down easily and seems to stick well. I kind of thought that it would be black. It is light green. Not what I wanted. Depending on where you are putting it, it can be rather obtrusive.

Worked great replaced a roof skin on a Ford transit van looked as close to factory as we could find.

Would like to see the edges rounded off more to match the oe look better.
