Pangea Fruit Mix with Insects Crested Gecko Complete Diet, 8oz

I have a colony of L. ligubris that feast on fruit flies or CGD. This flavor is by far their favorite and has produced the best feeding response of any flavor or brand. I think it is because mourning geckos can be raised on a much higher percentage of insects than Crested Geckos can. It smells incredible, and this is the only flavor that I get a consistent empty bowl from. I personally depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon, as do many other consumers. I not only read what reviewers say, but look to see what their pictures reveal about a products true quality and description. I aim to not only feature the products I review in many different aspects, analyzing many qualities, I also provide my own opinions on ALL the good AND bad experiences I have with the product I review. I take time to learn and use a product as it was intended before I review it, and I have used this specific product thoroughly. My rating system: 5 - Met all my expectations. Was described and pictured perfectly. Exactly what I wanted and needed. Extremely useful product and a great value. Would recommend to family and friends. 4 - Very good product. Exactly as described. May have a minor flaw, mentioned in the review, that does not detract from the products perceived value. Would recommend to family and friends. 3 - Average product. Not exactly as described, or misleading advertising or product pictures. Possibly substandard build quality, or something else explained in the review. Would mention as an option to family and friends, but not recommend. 2 - Wouldn't recommend this product. Poor build quality, not close to being as described. Flimsy and fragile. Difficult to use due to product flaws. 1 - Do not purchase whatsoever. Usually only given if product lasts only a few hours/days/etc. I do not leave 1 star reviews without contacting the seller. I will be returning the product. I did NOT receive ANY discount for this product. I simply enjoy reviewing every one of my purchases.

This food is fantastic! I’ve been using this stuff for about three years now and figured it was time to leave a review. During the first year of having my crested gecko, he had a hard time gaining any weight. At first I brushed it off as him just being on the smaller side, but I started weighing him and he was only around 20 grams at a year old. I know that isn’t completely out of the norm—he could have just been growing a little slow—but he just looked really skinny in his body when compared to the size of his head and images I’d seen of other cresteds. I was only feeding him repashy and decided to switch to this stuff, thinking the added insects would help him gain some weight. And it did! He beefed right up and is now a happy, perfectly normal sized little guy. My family/friends were amazed at how fast he grew. Needless to say, I’m really happy I found this stuff. Not only is it better for my lizard, but it’s super affordable and lasts a LONG time. I know some people don’t love the texture, finding it to be a bit to thick. My lizard is on a pretty consistent schedule, so I usually make it a little watery when I feed him and then by the time he gets to it, it has dried out a bit and is the perfect consistency. I’d recommend just playing around with the consistency you start with, maybe try spraying the tank when you feed so that the humidity gets a boost and helps keep the food moist. Overall, I love this product and I’ll never use another brand of crestie food.

My gecko loves this brand he refuses to eat anything else if not this brand. Weird. And I guess the watermelon one was so good my dog ate the bag 🤦‍♀️. Definitely good quality food for geckos.

I’ve tried banana, papaya, but something about this flavor just makes my cresties and leachies lick their bowls clean. I really like the thought of insects in there, giving them extra protein. Especially my leachies, since I know they can be a bit more carnivorous in the wild. All the protein is two thumbs up for me. I’ve noticed the watery side, a bit thinner than ketchup consistency, is what my geckos prefer. It makes it easier for them to slurp up. I also add a touch of calcium powder to mine while I’m mixing, just for an extra boost. And an added tip: I use an plastic picnic style ketchup bottle to mix/shake it up and then squirt the portions into their bowls. When you have more than 1-2 geckos I recommend making it in batches this way. It keeps for up to a week in the fridge, and is SO MUCH EASIER this way!

I gave my cresties Repashy for the longest time. I felt like trying something new too see their recation to it so I got this! and THEY LOVEEEEE IT. They literally eat their whole little bowl every night. It's also easier to prepare because you don not have to mix any calcium in it (Or have to keep buying more calcium) The package does carry a good amount like I'm pretty sure this will last me a good year. It stays fresh for a year if you keep it refrigerated but if you don't it only lasts 6 months. If you only have one crested gecko maybe you should get a smaller package because it doesn't take much of this to mix well with water. But yes. I will definitely be buying Pangea Fruit Mix from now on and I think my cresties will be happy with that choice. (

I ordered this Gecko food (fantasic food!) for my gecko in August. It arrived in NOVEMBER!! Strangely, it arrived within days of the replacement food I ordered, so now I have two packages of the same food. Sort of annoying since Amazon does not allow refunds or returns on pet food. If you are looking for input on the brand and quality of the food, this is as good as it gets. My Gecko has thrived on this food.

This is the only brand my gargoyle geckos will eat & has always been good quality.

My crested gecko loves it. I really appreciate that it has ground up crickets in the mix. Easy to use. Keeping the packet in the fridge keeps it fresh for a couple years at least, Absolutely no negatives. Definitely recommend this product. My male gecko grew up on this food. He had rejected other brands that didn't have crickets in the food, and he liked this one from the first feed with it. I would only feed him this specific food.

My fussy geckos favourite. Good to try if you cant get them eating anything else. Delivery was quicker than I thought.
