Beast X Clone.
Beast X Clone. I bought this unit because I was really curious about it. It is a clone of the german Beast X which is worth almost $200. It is a 2.0 version but you won't be able to upgrade it to any other version on beast X or Spektrum website. Even though is an easy to setup FBL unit and it does work very well on a RC helicopter. It doesn't need computers or programming pods. If you are going to use a small heli you could use a receiver or a satellite, but if your are using a 500 plus size chopper, then you should use both. It does not have slots for 2 satellites. I'm not a big fan of BeastX but is just a personal preference. It really does what is meant for. So if you like BeastX and don't have any remorse for using clone tech this is a good option. And I'm just saying that in my experience, this unit is good and haven't failed so far, but if you're going to test it on your 700 size helicopter worth 1600$ then it will be a non sense in my opinion and you'll use at your own risk.I'm using it on a TRex 250 because I couldn't properly setup the tail using 3GX, and VBar doesn't fit in between the frames so I required an unit capable of being located vertically on one side of the frame and BeastX was the answer. Also I didn't want to spend a big money on my 250 so I bought this unit and I'm happy with it.

Easy to set up, if you have problems check the net for lots of help!
I have been using these HB800 fbl gyros for over a year now. They work great and are easy to set up with your radio and a digital protractor. I use them on Tarot 450 pro helicopters, I am not sure if I would use them on a 600 or 700 class because of the helicopter cost is much more and you can not update the bios with the HB800. I have only had one bad out of about 10. The tail was twitchy but it set up and flew. Make sure the top plastic cover is not loose, if it vibrates is will give you problems. You can secure it with a little silicone down the sides of the gyro or a little tape.

Love the Hb800! !
I have 2 of these, one on a trex250 dfc and on a blade 450x. Firs time getting it to initialize is a pain but after that it's perfect. Easy to use and set up and both function like a dream. Got crazy with the 450x and crashed hard, but no damage to controller and it held all parameters perfectly. Will buy it again. Best bang for your buck! !

Works as advertised. Worth the investment
Installation was easy, setup documentation is lacking. There are several videos on YouTube and Helifreak to help. Seller is responsive and great to work with. Overall, very satisfied.
