Centech AP-2 Dual Fuse Panel

I ordered this box to replace the single tube type fuse that protects every circuit on my Royal Enfield 535 Bullet motorcycle. It is very well made, the box shields the circuit board nicely, and the previous maze of wiring is now gone thanks to the buss arrangement in the Centech module. Installation was a snap, and the unit takes up much less space in the Enfield's tool box then did the wire spaghetti that the manufacturer provided, and I now have four separate circuits protected by circuit breakers instead of fuses. Before making this change, I had a headlight pop loose on a remote back road one day, and when I put it back in I managed to blow the glass tube fuse, putting me out of action in Nowhereville. I managed to bypass the fuse with a bit of chewing gum foil that I found on the side of the road. Never again! Now the head light and other lights are on two circuits, the ignition and running power on another, and I have a separate circuit with a powerlet socket for things like a GPS or a video game to fight highway boredom while riding the Interstates.OK, I'm kidding about the video game.

Wish the back of the circuit board was protected with some kind of covering. I was unable to use the mounting legs in my application. Made one myself, out of cardboard.

Fits great under the R1200GS main seat! Perfect item and functions as needed! You will need a relay jumped off tail light to turn this unit on an off with key! If your setting up that function! Great item great price!

simple and easy to install. I put it under the seat of my motorcycle, routing wiring from a 12v outlet, heated clothing plug, LED accent lights, stereo and gps units. Works great!

I bought this as a replacement for an existing one. And it is a good fuse box. There are likely better ones on the marketplace today. At least one has a built in relay and you can decide for each circuit whether it is switched or non-switched.

The box is 2.75x2.25x1" with exposed circuits on the back side of the board. The box is too big and circuits are vulnerable to water/other means of shorts.

I bought this for my 2017 BMW R1200RTLC but have not used it to date. This is the second unit I have purchased. The first is mounted on my 2009 BMW R1200RT where it has handled non-canbus power distribution for my Gerbing jacket, a direct line for charging and also the passenger accessory plug without issues for the last 10 years.

Installed this on a DRZ and it works fine. You still need a separate relay to make it work with switched power. The small size is nice. Wish it had a built in relay though. Otherwise, it's a great product.
