Love + Fear Black + White Viny

Gorgeous music as always! I love almost every single song, though I don't love the WHOLE album as much as I do Froot. I see why some people may have some issues with repitition or a sort of feeling of too much "pop", not enough depth, maybe missing the mark with some lyrics here and there. But I actually feel some really huge moments of depth with this album too. Marina is the artist I listen to who I feel I can relate to, and for me, that's really rare, so it's special. I hope she makes more albums and doesn't wait so long on the next one. If not, I'm happy with the music she's given us.

This record is absolutely stunning. A very fresh and different sound for MARINA. I will always have a special place in my heart for her early work but this album truly shows her growth. The first side of the album LOVE starts off strong with the majestic “Handmade Heaven” And super fun “Orange Trees” But the A side doesn’t arrive to its greatest until the end when it hits the powerful anthemic track “To Be Human” and ends off with “End Of The Earth”. The second side FEAR starts off with the stunningly beautiful “Believe In Love” and my personal favorite “Life Is Strange” Other highlights include “Too Afraid” and “Soft To Be Strong”.

If you buy this record and it skips or sounds bad....blame your crappy cheap record player. I had the Victrola brand suitcase model that cost 60$ and this record didn't even work. I upgraded to 200$ Audio Technica BT record player and it is amazing.

Beautiful album by MARINA . I think she had much more creative control making this album as it sounds so authentically made compared to her previous albums . However , MARINA always make extremely great music . Rhythmic, beautifully made melodies and a meaningful topic . I hope she continues to make music forevermore . Love your music Fear the day you stop making music .

First off, not all the vinyl pressings are shabby and at $9 it's worth a shot.Second, in other circumstance I may have given this album a 3 star rating. But I've been having many thoughts of finding love and working through relationships through time and space. Connecting with the same kindred souls over multiple galaxies and lifetimes.Some how this album just works for me. Even when I reach the end and think, some of that was a bit cheesy, the final track, "soft to be strong", says, yes, and that's the point.

Nothing to dislike about her music. Occasionally she has criticized America but it's no deal breaker for me. Perhaps she has no hard working PR people here.

So many meaningful songs on it and I say handmade heaven whenever I can because of this album.

The media could not be loaded.  Such a great evolution of Marina’s sound. She really comes across as so much more reflective and introspective on this album. The vinyl pressing is beautifully done too, I love that the two LPs are black and white which kind of reflects the mood of the album as it plays through the track list.

Llego en excelentes condiciones, es de cartón. Me gusta mucho el album y el concepto del mismo.

The media could not be loaded.  I saw a few negative comments saying that their vinyls were skipping or that they were having issues with it - I received mine in perfect condition (the vinyls + the outer sleeve), both vinyls play very well and they don’t skip on my Pioneer PL-200 turntable. I also received my package earlier than expected; I am satisfied and I recommend buying this great album!
