I am very pleased with the quality, fit, performance and appearance of this cover.Quality-It is made of durable material and came in great condition (shipped and packed nicely). The cover is aluminum wrapped in a water repellent plastic which gives you the perfect blend of compactness in the compartment with firmness (being able to put stuff on it when closed).Fit-It fits like a glove. I had one piece off by about half an inch and my tailgate would not close. This made me check everything, I found my error and then it fit perfect. I just finished washing it and almost no water got into my bed after directly spraying at seams with a hose nozzle.Performance-It opens and closes smooth. It warns you that it may open rapidly but I find it easy to control. It easily locks in place, opens and closes.Appearance-it has a great look which reflects the quality of the material and functionality.The only thing I would improve is an explanation in the instructions regarding the tailgate extrusion kit. It assumes one would in now what that means and what the "so what?" is when deciding to install with or without it. Bottom line is the kit installs directly into (drilled into) your tailgate which allows the cover to lock directly into your tailgate instead of just the side rails. I elected not to install it because I have a separate lock on my tailgate. If you were to install it, it would have a marginal improvement on the security of your cover, but at the cost of drilling into your tailgate.Two other notes that were news to me when receiving instructions. If you have a plastic bed cover (I don't) you would have to cut a piece of near the cab to allow room for the compartment. Second is that they suggest you drill two holes in the bed, between the bed and the cab (but not into the cab) to allow for drainage of the compartment to reduce corrosion inside it. I did that and found it fairly easy with a hammer drill.The installation takes some time. It took me over 3 hours from start to finish, including a bit of research on the tailgate extrusion kit. But in the end I am very happy with it.

This was real easy to install by myself. Super pleased with the functionality of this thing. You do have to have the utility rails for this one. Overall I am very satisfied with it.

This is a great bed cover. It arrived quickly, 2 days after purchase. I compared many bed covers and decided this one was the best for my needs. I got this over the retrax because it takes up much less bed space. I got this over the Truck Covers USA because it locks in several places along the track. I don't particularly like the folding bed covers such as the Bak flip.Installation is easy, although the instruction pictures were hard to see, and I think some things should be more clear. I used the help of a youtube video and took my time to make sure I did everything exactly right. Doing it again would only take 15 mins. Some things I needed clarification on:1) Which way the bed rails went? - The bed rails have a curved piece that fits up towards the box2)How far towards the box do the rails go? - At first I just had the rails a little in front of the box, but it actually slides up past the box 2-3 inches, and then the cargo nut and bolt hold the rails and box togetherAnother problem I ran into was my tailgate, as with a lot of tail gates the metal at the very end was kind of bent and pulling up, this made getting the tailgate extrusion aligned difficult. When I first installed it I had a slight bow in the center. This slight bow made it almost impossible to get the latch to release. I thought the whole thing was going to be permanently locked together. I fought with it until it finally released and then I raised the center slightly and now it works very easily. It is VERY important to get the extrusion in the right position to prevent the whole thing from getting locked together.Check the rubber seal below the side rails before tightening it down, mine had rolled under in a couple spots and I had to loosen everything up to make it flat all the way across. My only other complaint is in this Texas heat it gets soooo hot, pulling it closed that last foot or so can be pretty brutal.

This is an excellent product, and I’m thrilled to have it installed and protecting all of the contents in my truck bed from the weather. I just installed it, and the installation videos were somewhat helpful, but not specific to my model.Once I figured out how to adjust the sides properly, it was very simple.I will say I also chose to install a bed carpet kit at the same time, and the thickness of the carpet impacts the adjustment of the bed cover. This is something to be aware of if you are doing any kind of bed coating or covering.Overall, this is a very high-quality product and the only complaint I would have is that the inspection sticker was placed on the outside.🙂 But the assembly workers did a fantastic job competing the manufacturing process, and the quality of materials and design are excellent.

I purchased this from Amazon first. Box was damaged and the unit was damaged...but the unit damage did not correspond to the box damage. It was beyond use. I called and they processed the return and refund in record time. I purchased from a local seller next. The unit looks really good and the install was relatively easy even though the instructions are garbage. You-Tube has them though. The mounting hardware was mostly trash but we bought some large area washers to make it work. The one for my mid size GMC Canyon(short bed) does not include brackets to stabilize the roller box at the front. Sometimes it lifts off of the bed. The only thing holding it down is the weight of the box and roller. I think that in some cases, even if you are mechanically inclined, it might pay to have professional installation. It is relatively water repellant, but not waterproof. I don't regret getting it, but really look it over for specs you need and understand the limitations for your truck make and model.

This is my second purchase of a Roll-N-Lock tonneau cover. I had purchased one for my 2016 Sierra All Terrain a few years ago and I was happy with its performance. I recently upgraded to a new Sierra AT4 and after shopping and looking at different options on the market, I decided to purchase another Roll-N-Lock. To my surprise they are more expensive than I remembered, but I consider a good tonneau cover as an investment to protect my cargo. This tonneau cover is made of vinyl covered aluminum and has a good locking system. Downsides: the tonneau cover rolls inside the box, which takes a little bit of room out of the trunk but I can live with that. The aluminum roll box cover on my last Roll-N-Lock developed surface pitting (a form of corrosion) which I did not like. If I had kept it, I would have stripped it and repainted it. There’s pros and cons to all products, and since the cons did not outnumber the pros, I still chose to buy a second one. I recommend the Roll-N-Lock M Series tonneau cover.
