Sadolin Garden Furniture Oil Clear 1L

This is really good stuff and transformed our bleached teak garden furniture. Trouble with teak is that it leaches a white powdery deposit over time which is not easy to get off. You can apply this stuff over the top of the white, but it looks and feels much better if you sand off the deposit first. I tried a few alternatives to sanding - vinegar and wire wool worked the best of the "easy" solutions but sanding works best. I used a belt sander a palm orbital and those abrasive recangular foam pads. The foam pads worked well, produced less dust but were slow. Two coats will help cover the bits you miss - like the gaps between slats. Well worth the effort.

I have been buying this for a few years tried others as this is not easy to find but they were a waste of money. This is expensive to buy now but it lasts and goes a long way and is perfect repels water when it pours the rain just lays on top will never buy anything else but wish it was cheaper.

At the end of a summer outside, it still looks good.

This is a good oil. It not only penetrates but also darkens a little and leaves a (waterproof) sheen on the wood. Fine if that's what you want.
