With its 448-square inch cooking surface and two cast aluminum 30,000 BTU burners, this camp stove makes cooking for groups of every size a breeze. The Yukon features a three-sided windscreen, removable legs for easy portability, and bottom burner housing to minimize hot/cold spots.

Awesome heat and sturdy.
Light weight easy to move around, wife loves that she can use two canners at one time.

I really wanted this to be great
I purchased this unit with high hopes. Let me clarify, I have already owned the camp chef xplor model. The xplor model almost immediately let me down due to not being able to get hot enough to cook. The last time I attempted to use it, it made a huge hissing sound fallowed by a fire ball near my crotch. So that unit was retired. Fast forward to now, I have cooked on this unit with the 2 burner griddle top on to still not get good heat. I adjusted the air valves to no avail. Now with all that said here’s my biggest complaintsThe air valves get too hot to touch. Also the knobs get too hot to touch. I have had to turn the burners off by turning the propane off at the tank. Camp chef has let me down 2 times for hundreds of dollars. Only to find myself pretty angry and looking foolish while trying to cook simple items. On the Yukon I triedGrilled cheese, steaks, and burgers. Very inadequate peace of camp gear. I seriously do not understand how these get such rave reviews. I just sincerely wish I was giving this 5 glowing stars of praise because I spend a lot of time camping. And I’m not a novice to the outdoors, or cooking.

Just what we needed!
We bought the stove to move our canning processes outside in order to minimize the heat load with the A/C unit. After the first two uses and lighting the burners with matches, we did order igniters that I then installed. At this point we've only used our steam canner and not the pressure canner, but see no reason we will have problems. The wind still affects the flame to some extent, but the sides and shields do help. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

I like this stove
I have been using this for over a month now. It is setup on my deck as part of an outdoor kitchen. It works great in that the flame is precisely adjustable and they get plenty hot. I used a steel wok on it one evening and the burner flame was large enough and hot enough to get it almost red hot, where I like it.So far the stove has been working flawlessly. I wish there was an electronic igniter included but lighting it with a butane lighter is fine until I can find an aftermarket igniter.

Great sturdy grill.
This is not for the backpacker/ hiker. If your tailgating, home outdoor cooking, or rv camping, then this is stove for you. Very sturdy construction with legs that are removable for storage. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Great stove but shop around for best price
Cooks hot, have had to do everything on low not to burn it. I recommend buying a cover, if it is left in the rain water will get in the burners and cause the flame to come out the front, not ok! This showed up in a Walmart box so I went online at Walmart and it was $30 cheaper! Shop around!

highly recommend
We have a Denali that is three burners. We loved it; needed smaller one too take camping. This Yukon is great, light weight, great heat output, and lots of cooking space. A plus, the griddle from Denali fits on one side of the Yukon.Great quality, highly recommend

good camp stove
I purchased the camp chef stove, the fry griddle and the BBQ grill box. I love that we can have one stove and different cook tops depending upon what is needed. All of these items are heavy so I would definitely recommend buying the carry bags. Also, if you plan to leave the fry griddle outside get a cover so it doesn't rust. I have only used these for one camping trip so far, but I really enjoyed having them.
