Xia: Metal 2,000cR Coins

These are beautiful coins but can easily be skipped by anyone who doesn't need any additional eye candy to their already beautifully realized Xia board game. At $10, you are paying a dollar a piece for these nicely done extras. I agree with the first reviewer who said you will use them when playing. But you use them for their aesthetics and not out of necessity. Only purchase if you are a true fan of this board game. They are not essential like the Embers expansion.

I would recommend if you are playing a lot and passing many coins around. Coins are the same quality as the ones that come with the base game on 1s and 5s. If you are looking to add upgrades to the game, this one is good after the sellsword MKII and expansions.

High quality extra coinage in a needed denomination - only purchase if you own the game.

There's really no reason that anyone needs to buy this, and yet I still bought it because it does add a little extra convenience when doling out credits in Xia.

Like the base game, these coins are high quality. The finish on them does make them stand out a bit more than the silver or blue coins, in a good way.

If you have the Base Game Xia these coins are a good extra. The metal coins are good quality. I like playing with nice components - and if you like longer games these coins make sense. You'll use them ;-)
