I've been really happy with this liquid iodine. It's easy to take, has very little taste, and has become part of my daily routine. Since I started using it, I've noticed an improvement in my overall energy and well-being. I'm using it as part of my efforts to support my thyroid health, and so far I've had a positive experience. The dropper makes it easy to measure, and the bottle has lasted a long time. I'll definitely keep purchasing it.

It work very good but you need to get used to the taste.

My wife is hypothyroid, and I became interested in her condition when her doctors struggled to get her thyroid to respond to various medications. I searched hypothyroidism on the web, and one of the things that popped up was iodine. I read the various articles about it, and the reviews here on Amazon, and decided to order this. My wife agreed to try it, and I figured I'd do the same, just to see If it made me feel better. We decided to take 5 drops (12.5 mg) each day and see if we noticed any effects. While my wife reported no improvement after a week, I experienced much more energy and alertness immediately after starting. But the real surprise for me was the vast improvement of some skin conditions I've had for many years that my dermatologist prescribed medication for, but could only slow the progression. The itching stopped immediately, and the patches of thick and callused skin on one of my palms started showing improvement, as did the eczema patch on one knee. It's been three weeks now, and the eczema patch on my knee, which had grown to over 5 inches in diameter, is now less than 2 inches. It has changed from a maroon color to a normal skin color,and is still shrinking each day. The problem on my hand also appears to be heading toward full resolution. I'm dumbfounded! How could my doctors overlook something as simple as a nutritional deficiency? I've worried about this condition and spent considerable money over the years trying to control it since I was told that was the best I could hope for. Something is terribly wrong with western medicine for something like this to occur. Update 9-23-09: It's been over two months since I started taking this. The skin improvements stopped short of total resolution, but the improvements described in my review are still present. I am VERY happy. Update 11-23-10: When I wrote the above comments, I didn't know it, but I still had one more surprise coming: For the last 15 years I've had four toenails that looked terrible due to fungus. Now, more than a year later, you can see in the nails where I began taking the iodine; the new growth looks healthy and normal. At the present growth rate, the bad part of the nails should be totally gone within a few more months.

This is a good product it healed my body from everything. I recommend it.

It’s great, works as intended. I believe the dropper is intentionally made too short to get all the fluid.

I’ve been using J. Crow’s Lugol’s Iodine for two years and have been very pleased with it. It has an excellent shelf life, requires no refrigeration, and I appreciate that it contains no alcohol, preservatives, or artificial chemicals. It’s one of the purest iodine supplements I’ve found and is convenient for daily use. I don’t use table salt for iodine; I use sea salt, so I choose to add three drops of iodine daily to my coffee. The dropper bottle makes it easy to measure precisely, and the drops can be added to water, coffee, or juice, making it very versatile. I personally like it as part of my daily wellness routine and feel it supports my energy, thyroid health, and mental sharpness. The product was also packaged very well with bubble wrap for shipping and arrived safely. I’ll definitely continue ordering this product!

I’m giving this five stars just so you will see it. I never thought to look at the one-star reviews. —There are no directions on the bottle. It says for talisman only… which you will not see until you somehow managed to get the tightly wrapped bubble wrap off the bottle. There are no markings on the dropper or any indication of how many drops to use. No indication of when it was manufactured or if there is an expiration date. And the icing on the cake ? If you try to contact Amazon, you can’t. Not returnable.—I suggest you look at the one-star reviews. It never occurred to me to look there.

I have no issues with this product. I take 2-3 drops along with my morning meds and other supplements. The bottle is a good dark brown and the dispenser works just fine. Delivery has been good both times I've ordered the product. I will certainly continue to use it to get my daily dose of iodine.
