I'll be wearing them for the COMFORT. Yes, I said comfort. The lumpy, bumpy soles feel amazing on my peripheral neuropathy feet AND I've even noticed my lower back pain (I've got lot's of steel and titanium in my back) subsided quite a bit. I believe the bumpy knob feeling on the soles are hitting pressure points on both feet and are relieving pressure which in turn, relieve pain. They took some getting used to but now I don't want to walk without them. A HUGE shout out to goes the reviewer who mentioned she discovered her own neuropathy pain in her feet subsided with these 'shower shoes' within only a couple hours of wear. Honestly, that's what made me buy them. I'm NOT saying these sandals will work that way for everyone, just saying they work for ME. Yes, they are non-slip. Yes, they are a little clunky but you get used to the feel after a day or two. They are a cross between firm and soft. They are NOT squishy or foamy. They are perfect for MY needs. Excellent price if you want to give them a try.
