If you're a beginner and not sure if cake decorating is for you, this is a great place to start without spending a lot of money. The set includes almost everything you will need for basic cake decorating and pastry piping. I was amazed at what I (a total beginner) was able to accomplish with this set and some time on YouTube.While not exactly high-quality products, they are good enough to get you started and help you learn what you will need to add and upgrade for your future decorating equipment and tools collection.The only thing that is (in my opinion) totally useless is the cake leveler. A knife or dental floss does a better job and is easier. Or learn the trick of using good baking pans and baking strips to get a flat cake straight out of the oven without needing to level.There are enough piping tips to learn how to do most of the basic decorating and pastry piping skills. You can then add to your set as you build your skills, buying individual tips that you need for each new technique and project (i.e., the many sizes and types of flower petal tips not included here).The two icing spatulas are medium quality and perfectly serviceable. The cake spatula handle bends easily, but works and has a serrated edge on one side.I haven't tackled using fondant yet, but the fondant tool set is pretty extensive.The turntable is lightweight, but does what it's supposed to do.I think it was a good value purchase. Would recommend for a beginner to get started. I'll be buying another as a gift for my young grand-niece who has shown an interest cake decorating.

This kit has so many items in it for a great price! I was looking around and was about to buy the same stuff, but seperately and at a much higher price before I found this kit. I'm a beginner at decorating with icing and I need to practice to get better. I usually use fondant. With the different tips available, I'm able to try out each one and try piping all sorts of different designs. The decorating pen is pretty neat too! This would make an awesome gift for a beginner baker because it has all the basic tools needed to practice and better their skills. I'm really happy with my purchase!!

This set comes with many items that are useful and easy to use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the size of the small tips. They are considerably smaller than I expected and would do almost no good for decorating a cake (cupcakes yes). The medium tips are more of the size I expected the small ones to be. Otherwise great set! Cuplets come in great handy!

Arrived on time, nice packaging, no instructions or guide for the beginner on how to use, or setup. Quality of the product appears good, set was complete, no missing pieces.

This was a birthday present and I loved it! This beginner's baking set offers a wide range of baking tools for a great price. It comes with a clear instruction set on how to use the less common tools as well as a pattern chart for the piping tips. In addition, the shop itself sent me some useful instructions on how to use the kit - perfect for a beginner like me.

Lots of useful items packaged together at a great value. It would cost much more to purchase a fraction of the items included a piece at a time. The icing tips with the couplers are so easy to swap out for different different designs. Customer service was impecable - not because of any problems with the products. They followed up to make sure there were no questions regarding the product and included information regarding tips and information on effectively using the products.

It was my granddaughters 9th birthday, she loves making and especially decorating cakes, cupcakes! She made a cake for her brothers BIG 13TH birthday, but she wanted different kinds of designs. She didn't have and was disappointed. So I surprised her with her own beginners cake decorating kit. She loves it all!!!

This kit is awesome! It has everything that I could think that I could possibly need for baking a cake. The kit is exactly as described. I appreciate that the material is made from silicone, are BPA-free plastic (so important if there is anything plastic in it), and stainless steal. On the whole, the tools are great and this is definitely great value for the money. Highly recommend!
