Genuine Leather Reading Glasses and Pencil Case - Authentic and Unusual Handmade Vintage Gift Pouch

Great case for my reading glasses. It's made from very high quality leather and even the zip is nice quality. I think I'd prefer a magnetic closing mechanism, just because I worry that at some point the lenses of my specs will catch on the zip, but I knew it had a zip when I ordered it so I'm not complaining. There's a suede-like lining inside the case to protect your specs, once they're in it. If I've one criticism, it's the packaging - it comes in a nice quality box but the lid is a tight fit, so I had a bit of struggle to get it out! I suggest the manufacturer takes a look at Apple packaging...

Brilliant glasses case. Its compact size means it fits my pockets comfortably. My glasses fit perfectly inside and the case looks great as well. The zip works well giving easy access to inside.

I've just received this quality product. Neat stitching with a nice suede inner lining. The thing that makes it special is the feel, the smell, the look of real leather. I wanted it for my glasses, which are not the smallest, so my main concern with ordering the item: would my glasses fit? Well, they do, but only just! They are titanium frames, so they are strong and have some flex, meaning they just about go in with the zip fastened. When I say a close fit, I mean it. I found that even adding in my cleaning cloth makes getting the spectacles into the case awkward and slow, so I'm considering just leaving the cloth out of the case, although it is possible with a natural product like leather that the case might stretch a little with use. My only regret buying this beautiful item, with its appealing design, is that it could do with being just a touch broader and a perhaps a touch shorter. This niggle is the main reason for a four star rating. The design, with the swirling, wrap-around zip adding a spine to strengthen the case when closed and allowing the case to be completely opened up flat when open, makes this item likely to be a classic with timeless appeal and practicality. There is something very satisfying in the simple act of zipping up the case or unzipping it and when you consider how often you get your glasses out or put them away, this tiny treat is a real bonus. The attention to deal is striking, with a leather tab to the zip riveted in place. The zip teeth might be metal, but might be nylon, and they do strike me as the most likely part to eventually malfunction which makes me wonder if Mosi do a repair and replacement service? I just wish Mosi produced a few more items like this, but perhaps it is their concentration on producing such a limited range ensures the quality?

I didn’t need glasses until I hit my mid-fourties’, so I’m not used to remembering them/being careful with them and I kept putting my first pair in my pocket with my keys and other stuff — leading to some very scratched and bent eyewear. I got a new pair recently but the case they came with was too bulky for my pocket. This one isn’t bulky at all, and does a fair job of protecting my glasses — not quite bend proof but it is rigid and sturdy. Definitely real leather. The zip works great and seems tough — not a YKK but seems well made — and the stitching is all very nice. I’d buy it again if I needed another case :)

Super cool unique and compact design. I’ve never received compliments on any eyeglass case until now! I no longer have to hide my dollar store looking foam eyeglass case from public view. In fact I leave these out next to my phone and people always ask about it. I bought a black one and a brown. Love the compact size although these are not for larger frames or medium sunglasses. My eyeglasses are on the thinner side somewhat like typical readers and they just fit without bending anything. The case fits nicely in my front pocket with minimal bulging and although it’s a soft case it actually performs/protects a bit like a hard case because the leather is more on the rigid side. Fantastic case!
