JTV-69 This battery from this vendor works!
There's a bunch of Vendors selling batteries with the same or similar picture of the CS-LNE100 battery claiming it works for Variax guitar models. Until I read here that somebody with a specific Variax model had success with this replacement battery most of the other vendor reviews were very mixed with many reviews that said the batteries just didn't work in Variaxes. The one review here was positive about success so I thought let me try and at worst send it back if it doesn't work. Got it, charged it up in the Variax charger, put it in the guitar, the meter lights up with 4 dots, and everything works. Finally! Update March 2022 - Have been using it for well over a year and a half - No problems.

Works perfectly in my Variax JTV-69
Worked well in my guitar until it didn't. I purchased in October of last year (10 months old), and now it won't charge. I hope it was just that particular battery. I've ordered another on and hope it has a better life span.
