Spigen Tough Armor Designed for Samsung Galaxy S10 Case (2019) - Black

I had a Spigen case for my S7 Edge and loved it. It did an excellent job of protecting my phone. So, when I bought my S10 Spigen was the first company I searched for. I read some of the reviews and I was skeptical because people had hinted the quality had gone down. Sorry, I'm not seeing that. One of the things mentioned was that the case is slippery. I've noticed that the reviews that mention it are ones that come in colors such as the graphite grey or gunmetal. I ordered mine in black just like the last case I had prior and it's all coated in a rubbery material. If I place my phone with the case on a flat palm it does slide around if I shake it. But, I'm never holding my phone that way. When I grip the sides of the phone it's easy to grip. Even if I shake it pretty hard with a normal grip I still don't have a issue with it slipping out of my hand. I don't know if the other colors are just plain plastic but it's just something I noticed. Also, don't know it if was intentional or not but my thumb rests right over the Bixby button regularly. The button itself has ridges in it. The ridges might have been designed just to make it easier to find the Bixby button in the dark but I feel like it gives me a better grip. The buttons work perfectly. I'll admit the last case I had the buttons were hard push at times but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I think these buttons actually work better on this case. It's not an overly bulky case, which I really like. I can still fit it in my back pocket just fine (for all you ladies with our tiny useless butt pockets). The kickstand I've never been too thrilled with even though I feel like this one is slightly (slightly!) better. Overall I'm completely satisfied with this case. I'm not disappointed at all and it over-exceeded my expectations. Five stars! June 23, 2020 update: One year later and it still works great. October 3, 2025 update: Don't know if anyone is still reading but my case finally kicked the bucket. The Bixby button fell off and the power button is cracked and probably next to go. Honestly still a 5 star. It did its job. I've dropped my phone quite a number of times and had no issues. This case has been through a lot so what?... 6 years of good use. That'll do Spigen, that'll do.

Had this case since Aug 2025. Thie phone has been protected from MANY drops including off a running horse to actually falling off the roof of my house (2 floors) when taking down Christmas lights. So either I have been very lucky or this case really is pretty amazing! It is also souch slimer than my old otter box.

This is not a bad phone case. It kept my phone safe for a while and survived multiple drops. Started to fall apart after about a year (it got weathered). Not too bulky, it fit well within my pocket. My hand was able to grip it just fine, but after it started to get old and weathered, it would slip out more easily.

Pros: Love the color(blue). Very form fitting. Easy to get on. Secure and snug. Great look Pro/con: - Kickstand seems a liiitle thin and flimsy? I haven't had any problems, and I actually love it. Just a note to be a little careful with the kickstand. But then again, it's meant to be a thin, form-fitting case. Too thick and it would be an otter box. - The buttons are super flush with the case, which makes for a sleek design. However, if they were raised just a bit, it'd be easier to locate without looking. Note: I'm coming from the Galaxy S7, where the power button was much lower, so it's partially me just building the muscle memory to where the buttons are. Cons: Nothing really. I really like this case! Hope they keep making these for a while! Other Notes: Some people have said they back scratches easy. But mine has been fine. I try to keep it in a pocket by itself. I don't put it in the same pocket as my keys or pocket knife or anything that might scratch and it's been fine for the last few weeks.

Was really impressed with the quality for the price. Feels really sturdy on the phone. Like cases that cost 30 to 40 dollars.

I bought this product because I just got a new Samsung Galaxy S10. What stood out about this case from others that I viewed was actually the sleek design and kickstand that came with it. I was tired of holding phone when on plane trying to watch shows. This case will help with that and make plane rides more comfortable. Case design: It is hard on the outside and a little bit of hard flexible rubber on the inside. I enjoy being able to snap the phone into the case quite easily. I see reviews of people's screen protector that came with phone prop up. This didnt happen to me and the case fit was exact. I also put a magnet inside the case with no problem as I have a magnetic mount in my car. Grip: The grip is well on the side but it is a little slippery on the back as it feels like smooth plastic. As long as you grip on the side then you shouldn't have too much of a problem of it slipping out of your hand. Design: The design and use of buttons are pretty simple to utilize. You have to press slightly harder to use the buttons but it is still very easy to use. The extra protection on the whole phone is worth it. Even though the design of this case appears to be pretty slick but the weight is quite a bit on it. That's the downside that I would complain about. The weight can be trimmed down if they want to make a revised version. There's a slight lip to the bottom and top of case so if you drop your phone it may provide some protection. Overall, I really enjoy this case on my new phone and it looks sturdy from drops that can occur when using this phone. I recommend anyone who likes watching videos and wants protection to get this case because of the kickstand and strong built.
