I'm new to growing and caring for beards and have recently experimented with a variety of balms and a couple of oils. I think Duke Cannon's beard balm, is the best of the 4 I tried. I like the redwood scent better than this scent in the balm, but in the oil, this is fine.It is not too strong. But I am not sure whether mine is old...or what. Because reviewers raved about this scent. The balm in this scent is stronger. It is still okay, but the little beads in it don't break down as well as the redwood variety. Don't know if that has something to do with age of product or what.Before this, I tried the Amish brand, Burt's and another I can't remember. The Amish comes in second in my opinion (balms); the Amish oil is as good as Dukes and may be less expensive.

I really enjoy this beard oil. It's a bit on the expensive side compared to others but you also get a large 3oz bottle where others are like .7+ per bottle. The smell is emaculent smells like fresh sawn oak and a bit of bourbon mixed in. It's strong. And last a good while

This is a great product for beard health and has a scent that can be enjoyed all day!

Is this beard oil or cologne? Because it does both jobs. I love this stuff, I’d buy it by the gallon if it was sold in gallons. In all seriousness, its scent lasts like all day and the bottle I have has lasted me quite a long time, I think I’ve been using it for about 3 months or so, but my beard is also pretty short, maybe 2-4 inches, so that probably changes how long it lasts, but regardless, excellent product.

This stuff was just ok. Great scent but it didn't leave my beard soft. Needs improvement.

This beard oil makes even a gray beard soft. The more regularly you use it the softer and more styleable it becomes.Seller was cheaper than Duke Cannon website also!
