This hub charged everything at the slowest speed. If your battery was low and you plugged it into this you would not gain any charger if you kept using the device. Even when we used the higher speed plugs it went up to normal cell phone charging speed. We never tried it with a computer for usb plugs so I do not know how it performs there. We bought a different charging station that managed to charge multiple devices in under 12 hours instead of bothering with tech support on this one. You get what you pay for.

I purchased this as a data and power interface for an Apple Superdrive - figuring (perhaps naively that the 48W power brick would suffice). I can tell you that I keep getting USB status messages that the Superdrive is not receiving sufficient power. So perhaps I over-bought for something for which there is no reasonable solution.The hub works fine (as it should). I don't really get the idea of turning off ports selectively. The fast charge ports work as advertised and fully compatible with Samsung phones.

I've been using this now for a month and more than happy with it. Being able to turn off ports that are not being used is great. The whole family loves it.

The 1st. one I ordered had 2 data ports that didn't work so I exchanged it for another one.The 2nd. one came and one of the charging port lights didn't work.I won't be ordering another.

Cant get this thing to work on my Laptop. When I reboot my laptop this thing does not show up. I tried deleting the drivers and restarting the Laptop and it worked temporary but failed again a few minutes later.

This hub looks very nice, and it works very well. It worth buying!

Good not great product priced to high for the quality that you are paying

I really like this usb hub, I can charge all my electronics together and check the charging state at the same time.
