Works as intended and the fit is excellent!
I love battery adapters... don't you?!!! This one appears well made, but honestly there's no way to tell how well or long the internal electronics will work... time will tell.Build is very nice and clean and the adapter fits snugly without slop... meaning the manufacture took their time with dimensioning, at least for Milwaukee batteries to Makita tools. My Milwaukee battery mates really well with the adapter, and the adapter mates very well with whatever Makita tool I put it on. There is no slop to speak of, and the adapter locks firmly to the battery and tool while affording a smooth removal after use.I give this 5 stars for now. In time, and if it lasts as long as I hope it will, I won't have to edit this review to drop the rating. This has been purchased for occasional use only, so it'll be some time before I'll be able to make a judgement. Very nice so far! Buy it and you won't be disappointed!

Works with Hercules power tools
This works very well with Makita tools. I have found if you use a high output, Milwaukee battery the Makita tool definitely gains a little bit of power and if you have Hercules power tools from Harbor freight, they also work on the adapter

Makita hammer drill to Milwaukee M18 Battery
Has worked great so far hope it lasts along time use quality parts in it and I'd design the body more like thoses utilitie carts that light but unbreakable polymer pvc whatever it is or keep it as it is but add rubber protecter sleeve around the whole thing to protect it from drops, if ur tool is hooked to it and drops n hits the floor or concrete it is going to break first time most likely unless there's some kind of protecter or better built quility and it's cheap so I get that but make it really durable an to last and charge alil more for it we will buy it keep the one u got sell it but add the better newer design and people will pick the one they want ethr the regular one or updated version, also down the road maybe make it smaller to fit into the M18 battery itself then onto the drill so it's not like having two different stacked battery's onto the bottom of ur tool, that's the only real negative I think should really be changed other then better quility built

A Must Have For Me Now
I got my mini chainsaw to cut up a tree that fell in my yard but have been using it for a lot of other small projects and honey do tasks because it's actually fun to use .I'd never heard of the brand saw , don't know how long the batteries are gonna hold up (or the saw itself for that matter ) , and I have a bunch of DeWalt tools and batteries already so when I saw this adapter I figured I'd give it a try . The OEM batteries take 3 hours to charge from dead on their charger but my Dewalt batteries take about an hour from dead on their charger so I can have more juice faster by switching if I need to as well .I'm not sure how well the innards are put together but it seems , without breaking it apart , solid and like it'll hold up for a while .If your mini chainsaw battery is a 48Vf , or a Makita brand , this adapter will work on your saw . If your other batteries are 20 volt max by Dewalt they'll fit this adapter . I borrowed the battery from a co-workers Milwaukee 18 volt tool and this adapter does indeed work using a Milwaukee battery as well .

Exactly what I needed...
I wasn't sure what would fit some of these knock-offs, so I had to study a few of the pictures for several, but this covers a lot of those oddball power tools/trimmers and adapts to Dewalt 20v max connection, or Milwaukee M18... in my case, it fits the 20v max or the 20/60v connection and provides a nice boost in power, not to mention I can use batteries I already have! 8^)

If you have a old Makita and a new Dewalt this is what you need!
I switched to Dewalt but have two Makita drills that work fine... but are old and Makita no longer sells batteries. This works perfect and now I have a couple of spare drills!

It works but fit and finish not so great.
The bottom line is the product works as advertised. It's a bit tall after adding it to my smallest Milwaukee battery, it did not fit the compartment of my Makita powered wheel barrow. The fit between the adapter and the Milwaukee could have been done better, it wiggles a little bit. Other similar item can be bought for $5 less.
