Sometimes cheaper is better!
Let me start by saying I have become very skeptical of reviews. Sometimes people put a rating as soon as they get something ... sometimes they don't know how to use it ... sometimes ....I very seldom put up a review, but after a couple weeks of using these cutters, I had to say something. I bought three sets of cutters ranging from $6 to $24. These were the cheapest and so far the best!I am a machinist by trade but build control panels for a living. I bought these to replace some cheap older ones. When I first got them, I had my doubts ... but I was wrong! They are light but that makes them easy to handle. They are relatively small but they fit my hand well. I have only used them to trim electrical parts (resistors, capacitors, ..) and to cut stranded wire ... so far they work great. The cutters are sharp and the jaws align well. The slightly blunt tip allowed me to push into the sheath of a three conductor cord and cut the outer insulation without cutting the inner conductors (the cord cost $250 and I needed to be very very careful). The cutters are slightly angled and cut flush ... they work great! I think they will also work great for hobby work like building plastic models.I have a Hakko soldering iron that is now about 25 years old ... still going strong. If these Hakko cutters last half as long, I will be super happy!I now have four in my tool collection.Sometimes cheaper is better!

Great hobby tool
I use this for hobbies. It’s super durable, high quality and I didn’t pay the hobby tax on it. The clippers align well and are great for soft resin and plastic. Super easy to use and is sharp enough for my uses.

Very useful and ergonomic
These clippers have been very useful for assembling model kits. They are comfortable to use. The grips fit perfectly in my hand and the head is angled to make clipping the model parts off of the sprues very easy. With some parts, the cut was clean enough that I didn't need my hobby knife to clean it up. It's also fairly inexpensive so that's another plus.

Worth every penny.
I like zipties and purched these as I'm tired of reaching into engine bays coming out like like fell into rose bush. These cut flush and free solid and red handle matched my other pliers.

Weird pricing, decent cutters
Very oddly priced. One is $5, a pack of two is $15, pack of three is $21. So if you want more than one, and they are cheap enough to have a spare in case one breaks or the jaw chips, just buy multiple 1-packs.Even though they are made in CHINA, the jaws seems well-ground, and they align well. Ideal tool for flush-cutting small wires and zip ties so they don't leave a sharp tail. They work smoothly and fit the hand well. How long they last remains to be seen, but especially for something as low-stress as cutting plastic wire ties, they should last. If not, you're only out $5.Or the Klein is nice, and it's made in USA, for $13-14.

Great quality for price
These are great and cost less than half of the others of same quality. I use them for trimming and cutting anywhere from 50 to 1000 40lb zipties a day. They typically last 1 to 2 years.

Good enough to buy twice
I bought one of these for general electronics use. It wound up going in my kit for making wiring harnesses and cables, so I bought another one for my bench. High quality construction, cutting surfaces are very durable, I've never had to sharpen or oil them. No visible corrosion in years of use. The handles are comfortable and easy to use. Hakko makes good stuff.
