Very easy to use. Ordered when upgrading my laptop SSD 1tb, in order to swap used 250 gb into a much older pc with no m2 slots. The SSD reads perfectly as SATA with this adapter. Not sure of any bottlenecks regarding speed, but it's sure a heck of a lot faster than the old HDD which is now handling backup/file storage and way cheaper than buying something new when an old pc is still able to handle my demands and then some. Great product. Might order more in order to start that dream arcade build 😃

I was forced to clone a new SATA M.2 for my Dell Venue 11 Pro from a recent backup, due to a failure of the Venue's original SSD. But the Venue wouldn't allow me to install the new M.2 and restore from the backup image on a USB HDD. This unit enabled me to install the new SSD in my desktop and restore from the backup. Afterward, I moved the M.2 over to the Venue, and the system booted normally to the Win10 desktop. Perfect!

I bought this adapter to install a 2TB Western Digital M.2 SATA SSD in my Dell Precision T7920 because Dell could not deliver equivalent parts in a timely manner. After I received my second delayed shipping email from Dell, I went looking on Amazon and found this adapter. It was very easy to snap the SSD into the plastic housing. The adapter did not, however, seat snugly into the T7920's 3.5" SATA hot swap cage. I had to cut 2 blocks of wood and drill a few holds to get the adapter to hold its position inside the cage with the cage's 2.5" space reducer installed. The arrows indicate where the holes were drilled. It may not be pretty, but it works just fine, the price was right and they delivered one day after I placed my order.

First of all, I can't believe people still confuse between m.2 NVMe and m.2 SATA. They're not the same thing, and they're not compatible. Please purchase the correct product for your needs.I had an extra m.2 SATA SSD I extracted from an old notebook PC and nowhere to use it, so I purchased this adapter. It's well designed to accept any standard length m.2 SATA SSD, and 100% tool-less!There's a latch attached to the springy plastic, and the SSD just slides over it to get securely latched (red arrow in the attached image).I put mine into a UGreen SATA to USB3 enclosure and it works fine, just like any other 2.5" SATA drive. I can also use it in a SATA-capable old PC without any m.2 sockets.It also came with little screws for mounting it to a standard 2.5" drive bay, but since I put it into a tool-less USB enclosure, I didn't need them.

Nothing about this device was good. I ordered because the specs matched my SSD ( SATA m.2 2280) The bracket within the case was not able to slide fully to the back, so it took me A WHILE to even get the ssd mounted, the m.2 socket had no tolerance so the SSD almost did not fit. Once I finally got installed, The drive was undetectable via the SATA interface.While using a USB boot to try and locate the device on the SATA intfc, the SSD was severely overheated and ultimately no longer works due to damage.

put this along with my m.2 pci ssd, made sure it doesn't "jiggle" and before i knew it I was gaming on ps4 again! i got the idea from a asian gamer on youtube showing how to upgrade his ps4. it's actually really good material, i made sure the screws were in, took out the default screw from ps4, and after cleaning everything, closed the ps4 lid, then plugged everything back into place, put the power on, and boy! You have to see how fast this is! one of the best purchases on amazon, for sure! i used a 2280 m.2 model ssd, i am not a techie, but i just looked one youtube for tips and tricks, what others did, and of course on amazon reviews to find out what else is there that i can learn from people using the product. well I'm a girl and i found this absolutely amazing, knowing it's covid 19 and i didn't have to ship my PS4 to a local repair shop to "fix" my HDD. Most empowering.

It was easy to use. I bought it primarily to clone an HP laptop that came equipped with a small SATA M.2 SSD.If I was going to do this a lot I would pick a more durable product as this one is primarily constructed of light weight plastic.If you are just planing to make use of an existing M.2 SATA SSD and want to install in a computer that does not have a M.2 SSD SATA slot then the 2.5" form factor is perfect to install in anything that accepts regular hard drives.

I got it (EZConvert MB703M2P-B) and tested it. I find the plastic locker is not a good fit to the frame. So, there is a gap between the locker and the frame, and the locker cannot secure the M.2 SSD firmly. I have to return it.

per quando riguarda il prodotto nulla da dire ho dato cinque stelle il prodotto è ben fatto non so se funziona non sono riuscito a provarli in quando il mio hd crucial non sono riuscito a farli accedere al connettore motivi il separatore centrale del connettore troppo spesso o forse leggermente spostato guardero megilo se si puo adattare perchè la differenza e minima
