My 3 puppers love these treats. I make sure I stock up all the time. They look very natural compared to other dog treats trying to imitate jerky. And they must be pretty tasty since my puppers love them so much compared to other treats.

A new favorite for my sweet girl. These are easy to break into more bite sized pieces and has a pleasant aroma even though I'm vegetarian! There are a few treats that I can count on to get my hardworking Service Dog to do anything that I ask her to do and this is one that's been added to the list. It seems that this treat will work fine regardless of the size of your furkids and it's really hard to imagine a dog not liking this.The ingredients are listed as: Bison, natural flavorThis is not a tough, stringy or really chewy jerky like I associate with jerky. I can easily use my old lady hands to break this into smaller, bite sized pieces and Phoebe has no trouble chewing it even with her old lady teeth, so that pleases both of us. It doesn't feel at all greasy, but I do break the pieces and then place them in a little treat cup that we use so I don't know what would happen if it were placed on fabric, but I don't think it would be there for long . . .

Not sure how I am supposed to rate the flavor but my dogs all LOVE these treats, so the flavor must be good; they are on the expensive side, but I think because of the quality. The jerky bars are good size, but easily break into any size pieces, even very small, for my small dogs; the buffalo are a favorite, but they like all the flavors. highly recommended.

Very tough chewy! My chow loves them! My ShiaTsu, not so much. He can't chew them...though he is happy to chew small bites if I cut it up for him.

too expencive

My pit bull has recently diagnosed food allergies, so my vet put him on a strictly salmon diet. I didn't realize how much crap is in dog treats (even the "healthy" ones) until I started looking for treats made exclusively with salmon as the main ingredient, no other meats. I ordered these based on reviews and ingredients (100% salmon), not really knowing what to expect. Boy, are these smelly! Definitely salmon. They're crumbly, almost like those granola bars that fall apart when you take a bite. But those minor things aside, my dog LOVES these. He'll do tricks to no end if he can get a taste of these as a reward. The bag isn't totally full of treats, and there's a variety of pieces (the crumbly thing again, but it's fish, what else would you expect?!) One bag has lasted me about a month with an average of maybe 3-4 (give or take) "treatings" per day. Reasonably priced and 100% salmon-- I'll continue buying more!

I was happy to find some Bison treats because of the great quality of meat they are for my pet. High protein and really lean. they are 100% Bison too and perfect since my pup has a lot of allergies finding treats she likes and can have is difficult. This seem to be a favorite for her as she wants to eat them up all in one bite but they do break apart as well which is good I am always worried if they are too hard or stiff she will choke on them but she does well and hasn't had any problems. I am able to break them up in smaller pieces and she truly enjoys these and use as her special treats. The bag has a seal for helping to keep them fresh as well. I will keep this on my favs for future orders and the price was good. Hard to find good prices on special meat that is 100% natural with no fillers. Packing is true to pictures as well.

I bought these as a high value training treat when the other brand I was using doubled in price overnight. I had hoped these would make a good alternative as an easy to chew jerky option. I don't know if I got a bad batch but when I opened the back all the pieces were hard, brittle, and snapping them apart left a chalky residue both on my hands and in the bowl I was using to hold them. I'm a bit concerned about feeding it to my dogs, honestly. Having a harder treat that splinters into sharp, pointy pieces probably isn't good for them. I'm giving it 3 stars because at the very least my dogs will tolerate them enough to eat them so it's not a complete waste, but I'm still disappointed and will be looking elsewhere for training treats at this point.
