Good test
If you dose Strontium, you need to test. My reef tank wasn’t getting coralline and dosing strontium was recommended, but how much?I had been adding half the recommend amount and was not seeing any change. That’s when I ordered the test.Upon getting the kit, I proceeded to do my first test. The instructions are in-depth and multiple steps so read them a couple time and lay out everything.The test starts out by checking your calcium level, which matched my RedSea calcium kit, 392/390.You then add more reagents and wait about 15 minutes before you test for actual strontium levels.Adding one drop at a time of solution, you come to your reading.After all the dosing, my tanks reading was 0! There is a margin of error stated in the instructions, but my tank was way low.If you’re a test junkie, and don’t want to go the ICP way, this is a good addition to your test tool belt.

Its a process
Test seems to work fine, but a lot of steps. A plus is that in the process of testing strontium you are testing calcium as well

Great test kit! Even better customer service from seller
Salifert makes great test kits. This one is almost like a 2 for 1 because it gives you a calcium reading also. I ordered and the one I received had a broken test vial. I contacted the seller and they sent out a replacment kit at no charge.. thank you premium aquatics!!

Decent.
The kit is decent, but you really couldn't ship it in a box? The thing came fully disassembled and every had to spill out when I opened the duct-tape "bag."

Good Test, not easy
Not an easy test but appears to be accurate. Make sure you keep the instructions as reviews and YouTube videos are for the older test. Instructions also call out wrong color on the syringe but clear enough to know which one to use. Coral growth and coralline took off once I had Strontium back in alignment.

Inaccurate and difficult to use
Inaccurate, Margin of error plus/minus 5. Very difficult to use. I would notnise this test kit to manage dosing Strontium. If you do plan on dosing Strontium I would recommend any ICP test instead of this. Dosing Strontium is a debated topic and now I see why, no sense dosing something if you can't easily measure it.

Salifert - Strontium test kit I compared dis kit whit many aders and fond out that even do it's a little confusing a Ferst when you do ondersand it correctly, it thrones out to be what you were looking for. Recommend absolutely

Save time and money very accurate
Strontium is very hard to measure, the only other kit I have used was very expensive and time consuming. This unite works well, 1/3 the price and 1/3 the time.Highly reccomend.
