Great Product!
I love this product, works exactly as advertised. Before installation I spent about. 20 minutes on my couch with the computer following the configuration flow chart poster. You set the typical things like date, time, format, tire size, etc. I don't move this computer between bike, but it has that capability in the configuration. It was pretty straightforward, just took my time to get it right and make sure the computer was communicating with the transmitter, I passed the magnet near the sensors to verify computer was responding.Installation on the bike only took about 15 minutes. All the zip ties and double sided tape required was included. I set the transmitter first and then installed the magnets so that they passed by the well marked targets on the transmitter (see pics). Although the transmitter for both speed and cadence are one unit, it's hinged in the middle so you can adjust the placement of each sensor individually. Just make sure you tighten down everything as much as possible so that they don't move or fall off. I've only had to readjust the transmitter once after laying the bike down in the grass to fix a flat. Since the transmitter installs on the non-drive side chain stay, this is going to happen but readjusting is quick and easy.I don't currently use a HR monitor so I can't evaluate that function. But I'm amazed how closely the odometer corresponds with Strava. I also placed the computer so I can cycle through the screens and reset the computer with just a click of my left thumb without removing my hands from the bars. As you can see from the pics, I use mount my phone on the bars for things like Strava, mapping in unfamiliar areas and if necessary, Uber. The unit looks great on the bike and being wireless, you can easily remove the computer for security. I chose a wireless unit because my bike has all cables routed inside the frame and I didn't want to add an externally routed cable. The unit has never failed to perform. I also like that even if I choose not to record a particular ride, total total odometer still records so I know exactly how many total miles is on the bike for maintenance purposes. If I need another computer, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this unit again.

Good basic computer
Now that I have used it for 300+ miles, I think I can give it a fair review. For starters, do not attempt to install the computer using the instructions that comes with the unit. It might as well have been written in hieroglyphics. I am an engineer who is capable of reading schematic diagrams, and I could not figure out the instructions. Go to the website's support section and watch the installation video instead. The installation was pretty straight forward once you watch the video. There were a couple of issues. Depending on your bike and how your crank is shaped, the magnet that goes on the crank may slide. I solved that problem by purchasing a pack of the small round anti-skid rubber pads from Home Depot. I put a rubber pad between the crank and sensor magnet. The other issue that I sometimes have is that the speed/cadence sensor gets knocked out of alignment. Usually when that happens, the speed still works, but the cadence no longer registers. The position of the cadence sensor seems to be a lot more picky. The setup menu is not the most intuitive thing in the world. Fortunately, you only need to go through that part once.In terms of functionality, the computer works well. I've rode along a trail with 1/4 mile markers and checked the distance that was being reported against that. I also checked to see how close the average m.p.h. was. Accuracy is good. I did not buy a chest strap, so I have nothing to report about the heart rate monitor. I do like the single button functionality. It makes it easy to switch the display while you are riding. I have used the computer while riding with full-fingered gloves on.In terms of the size of the computer, there's pros and cons of having a smaller unit. I like the smaller unit because it easier to deal with when you also are trying to manage a cue sheet. However, I'm sure as my near vision degrades as I get older, I will not appreciate the compact size.

It works beautifully and is a very elegant solution for wireless computer ...
I bought 2 for use with on my tandem. With the length of the tandem nearly 8' from front wheel to back I was not disappointed that the digital wireless could successfully reach from head unit to sensor. I paired 1 cadence/speed sensor with 2 head units. It works beautifully and is a very elegant solution for wireless computer option for a tandem team who wants cadence function. You can even pair your individual heart rate monitor strap to your respective head unit. I found the directions a little confusing, but I called Cateye support and they patiently walked me through the set up and pairing of the two units on my tandem. The flow of the screen display and functions seems intuitive to me even if the initial set up was not. I like the positive click button. Cateye makes quality products and I am not disappointed.
