GREAT for the price!
My partner and I needed some tire chains quickly to get through the snow and these worked perfectly! Comes in a compact case and is SUPER easy to install on my tires. Very durable and did their job great! Especially for the price, since most mountain roads require you to have chains with you at all times, these were amazing. I know that other companies will charge you an arm and a leg for chains, but this is just enough to get you by and on your way. Would highly recommend it!

Perfect
I got these for big bear, but I ended up returning it because we ended up getting a rental. I originally got them for my car to go to big bear and they came in so fast and the instructions seem easy to assemble.

Life saver
Got stuck in the snow with my FWD car and it was miserable. Got the chains and ended up using them soon after getting me out of a pickle!!

I used this on 2 snowboarding trips so far and it worked great. If you’ve never used chains before I would recommend practicing in dry conditions at least once before heading up the mountain as it can be frustrating your first try, learning while cars pass by you on the road and snow is falling down on you (don’t ask me how I know this...) After the initial learning curve is done these are user friendly and you should be able to take them on and off in no time. My only complaint would apply to any chains, I cannot figure out the best way to roll them back up and store them. I would recommend bringing a couple of trash bags in your trunk so when you remove them you can throw the wet and muddy chains in a bag and throw them in your trunk without dirtying up the interior.

These things worked great this past weekend on snowy Mammoth Mountain
These things worked great this past weekend on snowy Mammoth Mountain. I practiced putting them on in my driveway once. Took no more than 10 minutes. Had to put them on in 17 degree temperature at night when the time came and put both on in about 10 minutes on side of the road. Good grip on icy roads, didn't slide once. Easy to take back off and put back into the case. I used the "quick grip" from Security Chain (item QG20074) with these even though the instructions say you don't need them. I think it gives you a tighter fit. My car is a 2017 Honda Accord, 215/55/17.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD!!
DO NOT BUY THESE. I ordered them thinking they would work, went to the snow and got caught in a storm. Chains were REQUIRED in order to get down the mountain. I put the chains on and they were too big for my tires, even though these are the exact chains it directed me to when I entered my car information, including my tire size. The chains scratched up the side of my car. I called Amazon to see if there's a way to submit an appeal or something so I dont have to pay out of pocket to get my paint re-done since the chains should have fit according to this website. They basically told me too bad, it's my fault. I spoke with TWO SUPERVISORS and they both told me I shouldn't have drove with them if they looked too big. So basically they were telling me that I should have risked sliding off the road while driving down a mountain rather than using the chains. REALLY PROFESSIONAL. Look in the two pictures, the white is all dented from the chains hitting my car.

The box doesn't stay closed
If you keep these in your trunk they will be a big spaghetti mess if you don't strap the box closed. Otherwise these are a decent alternative to tire chains.

Works well
Great value for sturdy trustworthy chains. Chains generally aren’t fun to install and these are no exception. More specifically, they aren’t necessarily hard to install, but can be tricky to get tight with the adjustment style on them.Otherwise, they’re great and fit my tire size as recommended.

Check the manufacturers website before ordering.
The chains fit great and worked as they should. I used them twice this winter and was glad to have them. I followed the advice of another review and was glad I did. The product code recommended for my car on Amazon was not correct. I went to the manufacturers website and it was a different code than what was suggested. I ordered the set that the manufacturer suggested and they fit great.

Wrong size
I purchased the cable chain for my car. I checked and rechecked the sizing. I purchased them in 2015 and finally got them out to try in Jan 2018. They are too big. I have used cable chains like this in the past, and know that they are not supposed to be tight and that actually they rotate around the tire. However, unlike the fitment in the picture I need about another 6" of ability to tighten these properly.

Hard to install with instruction provided. Wasted over an 1 hour in cold weather trying to install after I installed my way in 15min (driving over and attach it)Also has plastic clips to prevent the extra cable to flap, didn't test long enough but was affraid the clip could break
