I got this for my cat as a Christmas gift (I know) and it arrived in perfect condition! It seems to be some sort of foam nicely covered by a light orange velour-type material. She definitely loves it, and I love the antenna "wings" or whatever they are on top. It's probably not big enough for a very large cat- the interior is about 12" square and I wouldn't trust the material to keep it's shape with a big cat leaning around in it all the time.Definitely a better buy than any bed I've seen at big-box or pet stores. Cat says: Highly rated.

One of my teenage kittens really likes being in enclosed spaces, so I thought this bed would be perfect for her since it's a nice little cat cave--however, she has totally rejected it for some arcane cat reason, even when I sprayed the inside with a little catnip, which she loves.The bed itself seems to be really well made---I put it through the washer (gentle cycle) and dryer (delicates / low temp) before I put it out for her inspection and it came through with flying colors, which is excellent--and which has not been the case with some other cat beds I've had over the years.The cushion inside is very nice and plushy--which may actually be the reason why my kitten isn't fond of it, since some cats don't like the feeling of sinking down into a cushion. I'll probably hide it away for a while and then bring it back out without the inside cushion and see if I can generate some interest in it.It is very soft and also super-cute, with its funny little carrot top---the color is kind of an orange sherbet color; more on the pastel side than a brighter orange (which I actually would have preferred) so it's not going to fade into the background (unless you happen to have an orange-themed room!) but it is pretty innocuous, since it's just a solid color and not one of the insane patterns that seem to be so prevalent in certain cat items. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try if you have a cat who is a snuggler--and if it isn't a hit, try taking the inside cushion cat, since you never know what might suddenly make something acceptable to a cat!

My kitty absolutely loves things with a roof, since his preferred method of surprising his unsuspecting mousy minions and roommate is to suddenly appear from under things and stealth attack. When this adorable cave bed arrived, he loved the box it came in, but that was about it. He was absolutely uninterested in the cave, and nothing I did could convince him to check out the inside. It has a nice fluffy pillow, which I expected him to love, but he wanted nothing to do with it.After a few days of watching him sleep next to the bed, I took out the pillow to see if he would at least enjoy that. He still wasn't interested in either one, so as a last effort, I tried putting an ordinary beach towel in the cave. I have no explanation, but that caused instant success! He happily sleeps in it every night, and loves to hang out inside, as it's got a convenient little ledge he can rest his adorable chin on.It's very sturdily made and has held up to a lot of abuse, because sometimes it will do something that offends him, and he'll pounce, knock it over, and chew on the sides till he's satisfied it's dead. It's held up to all of this beautifully, although, to this day, he still refuses to have anything to do with the pillow. I'd recommend this for any kitty that likes places to lurk!

These beds were smaller than advertised. I had to send two of the three back because I have HUGE cats. But, one of my cats curls up in a very tight ball just to go into the house. They are very very soft and comfortable. I kept o e, even though he really barely fits. I think this house would be perfect for cats under 15 lbs.

We call this thing "the Peach".I bought this little bed for our new kitten. When I opened the box, and took it out, my 13y/o orange tabby immediately hopped inside the bed and curled up. "This is the kitten's bed!" I said. Nope. His now. I didn't expect him to fit in it let alone want to sleep in it.All three of the cats love it, and mercifully they don't fight over it and just share nicely. In fact, they love it so much that two cats will frequently sleep in it at the same time. See attached photo.I'm actually here today to buy another one. We bought a cheaper and almost identical cat bed (larger, same shape, different material. We call it "the pear"), but it was deemed inferior. None of them use it after a year of having it in the house. This cat bed is the real deal. Only this cat bed will do.

I would love to see it in other colors, hence my four stars.. My cats love this. I like that the pillow can be removed and machine washed. I have machine washed the entire item without incident. The only problem I find is that it is very easy to collapse as I have found cats also like to sleep on top of it. But company please make some other colors of this bed as I would like to have them in several places in my home.

My 3 pound chihuahua loves this little hut. The pillow inside is very soft and snuggly. The only thing I don't really love is the stupid looking butterfly type thing o the top. If I could figure out a way to cut it off without messing up the little hut I would. I bought 2 of these, one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

My one cat likes hanging out under my desk while I'm working (I work at home) and I wanted to try a little bed in the spot he likes so that he'd be more comfortable and so I might remember he's there and not accidentally kick him! Both of my cats seem to like this bed and my desk-dweller has been spending much of each workday nestled into it.I find a lot of cat beds look cheap and cheesy but this one is really cute. Its super soft both on the inside and outside. If you have a very large cat, you might want to find a slightly bigger bed. My largest cat is ~15lbs, is not fat at all. If it weren't up against a wall, he might topple it over while trying to get comfortable.

This igloo is perfect for my Yorkie. My mother has one for hers, so I bought one for my new little girl and she loves it! She goes in it at the end of the night when she's going to bed. She plays in it and hangs out the side...but I think it allows her to feel safe, while at I'll being able to come out on her own if she chose, since she hates being locked in a crate or carrier.

My cat loves this! He sleeps and makes biscuits in it all the time.

The cat bed was too small and my cat never used it, so I returned it back.
