Purchased for landscaping in California sun. Works great, huge wide brim slopes downward to provide optimal protection. Brim is stiff enough to withstand moderate breeze. Material is much more durable than a cheap straw lifeguard hat, though the craftsman ship is nothing too special. Style is on point; you will fit right in on the beach, in your kayak, in a field, or on a landscape crew.

Very nice hat. Well made. Bummed that it didn't fit my husband. He has a pretty large head. He usually wears a L or XL in hats, so this was a little small.

Love this hat on my hubby. He purchased it for when we go to the river in the hot sun. It looks nice and seems to be of good quality. Also stretched to fit well with a hat stretcher.
